Didn't realize the floor staff was negligent - I mean was the previous play a free throw or did Milsap fall onto that spot?
they have new people to wipe the floor. I don't think I've ever been as angry watching a game as I was when Duncan hit the floor on the wet spot Millsap made at least 40 seconds earlier.
This is one of those times I'm really hoping for the wrath of Popovich. I think he and Duncan were at least as pissed off as I was. Duncan, who's famous for his ability to let go, was angry for the next several plays.

TP swept also on the same spot
He fell on the spot Duncan made when he fell. Millsap fell on the previous possession and there was more than enough time to clean it up. The three guys who do it were sitting by the Spurs bench enjoying the game. Pop got up to yell at them after Parker fell.
yup, someone just lost his job tonight for sure![]()
One broadcaster was claiming the possibility of ice under the floor causing condensation.
I have no idea when the Rampage last played or if they are going to play tomorrow.
Cant say I saw anyone try to wipe it before Duncan or Parker slipped though.
Impressive freudian slip, tbh.
P.S.
Pop has fired in-arena personnel for less.
Nope, I went back and looked. Millsap hit the floor in exactly the spot that Duncan stepped on, and there was a ton of time to clean it up.
The rampage haven't played at home in almost two weeks ad don't play another playoff home game till next Monday.
I went back and looked at it. Duncan really could have hurt himself. He completely lost it.
It was the TNT crew who mentioned it.
Can you imagine the storm if Tim or Tony or even Millsap had been seriously hurt because of that crap? Heads need to roll today at the arena.
I still think his hip will hurt quite a bit the next morning ... but nothing serious in the long run
yeah the sinking feeling was coming on for a minute
In addition to the mop boys, by the next home game hopefully the Spurs will have also replaced their playoff opponent.
He fell right on his hand/arm. Lucky he didn't break anything.
The conversion crew was setting up for a concert on Saturday. The condensation from the ice should have been a non factor. The ice is under the matt until Sunday morning.
When was this? I was at the game and I missed it, I need to go look at the recording. Thanks for any info.
When Duncan went down i wanted to chuck my remote through the TV..
Whew. Yes, I will definitely admit I was a taaad bit frightened, to say the least, when I witnessed the bodies flying one after the other. GEEZ. Thank God nobody was seriously injured or anything like that.![]()
