Surprised there aren't collective groans, this doesn't seem like all that much (if you have an s2 or nexus)

Not sure what else would qualify as a substantial upgrade. It wasn't anything revolutionary for sure, but the changes are more than incremental.

I'd say a screen that is major upgrade from S2 (minor from Nexus), evolution of TouchWiz (software), and quad-core are pretty decent upgrades, among other things.

tbh if this was an Apple product everyone would be jumping all over it for not being much of an upgrade, like the 4s. i'm surprised they still haven't caught up to retina pixel density though, it's been almost two years now.

Well haha yeah. But it's just a matter of preference for me. I'd rather keep music than porn. I don't watch porn repeatedly whereas I can listen to music repeatedly.

esp with dropbox, amazon, skydrive, google drive etc, etc all each offering at least a few GB. I got my dropbox up to 7.5 just syncing my daughter's iPod videos of our dogs and random in the yard with the auto upload free space giveaways

I don't get why Samsung doesn't put an actual full-quality screen on these flagship devices. Other than that, it looks like a neat phone.
