Seiko’s never die & they keep extremely accurate time…I have two 30 year old Seiko’s that sit in a drawer most of the time…I don’t remember when I changed the batteries last but they are in perfect time…
My friend who collects Rolex’s wears a Seiko for daily use because they never need repair…![]()
Which is why I stated I would rather look at my wrist than pull out my smartphone in a meeting.
Got this bad boy for my birthday a couple months ago! I love it.

If I was looking to drop 20K on a watch
Lange 1 Time Zone
The fact they can do all of that mechanically is unbelievable. Would be like wearing a work of art on my wrist.
The mechanics

Hate if you want...I like the big watches.
I have this one....
...and my wife just got me this one for our 10th anniversary...

I have this one;

because I couldn't justify spending this much to get this one;

and my everyday watch is a Tissot classic that wifey bought me on our honeymoon so it has sentimental value (could not find a pic as it is 11 years old) but it is a fine watch and has never failed...
I just gave a Luminox Blackout watch like this one to my son;

I like watches even though I realize most people carry smartphones and the watch is becoming redundant.
G shocks for everyday use.
Corum gold coin watch for formal events.

Yes that's a watch
"Slightly" over my budget
If I'm ever in a situation where I have too much money, I would go for a Patek Philippe myself. It's one of the last of the traditional Swiss watchmakers and a very untrendy company. Don't look for flashy modern designs, but simple mechanical perfection.
Business
Pleasure
although this is fancier than my watch, but same brand and buttons.
You know, I didn't realize until this thread that most analog watch photos show the time 10:10. This might be some well-known fact but if I knew this.
10:10 10:10 10:10 10:10 10:10 10:10 10:10 10:10 10:10 10:10
What do you think Stephen Hawking, Jimmy Carter, William Shatner, Steven Spielberg, Richard Dreyfuss and countless other intellectuals have been telling us? They are out there folks and they are trying to communicate with us!

Is Fossil considered cool or nice? I don't wear watches, never have, but I was under the impression that Fossil was like the high school kids watches. Kind of like the "Sketchers" of watches.
I have a Fossil like this that I don't wear anymore....
I am looking to buy this one now...

Yes I do still wear oneIt depends though, I either wear an Esprit Black Leather, a white Timex Iron Man watch or a Black rubber Rudy Project (local brand I think).

I got this as a gift from my dad for my b-day, but I don't wear watches. Don't even know if it's cool or a good watch:

I don't wear a watch (or own a calendar; I'm usually just lucky to be where I'm supposed to be when I'm supposed to be there). A few days ago my Dad brought me a jewelry box that belonged to my Mom, and in it was a very small, delicate watch by Wittnauer, that from what my Dad knew about it, is probably about 100 years old. It wound right up and is keeping good time. There are some markings inside that are partially rubbed off, I can't make them out. But the box is in very good condition and I'm hoping that I can track down the style and letterings on the box to determine the age of the watch. I think I'd like to have the watch cleaned up to wear, cuz its so cool looking![]()
Yep. Its to show off the logo. Its usually used for digital watches, too.
Here's what's weird. Seems like every time I look at the clock, it reads 10:10.
to a lesser degree, 11:11.
Seriously. And I've done it enough to know that it's not just because I'm aware of it more.
I love watches! It is the only form of jewelry a man should wear. I have several Coach leather strap black and brown watches. Very classy look. I have a couple of stainless steel Kenneth Cole pieces as well. I just got this one last Christmas and I love it.
