lol pretty much sums up this series.
lol pretty much sums up this series.
Favors is their Tiago I guess, and Howard is their RJ.
Seems to be that way.
I see some similarities between us and them, Jefferson is their Bonner and Splitter is Favors, Jhoward is their RJ...
Jefferson is NOT bonner. Bonner does not average 13 ppg mostly from post scoring. However, Jefferson only gets 6.5 rpg in 31 minutes, so that is not so impressive.
Defensively I mean, Blair or Bonner, they ing hate AJ over there lol.
Definitely. They're like a mini-us. Right down to the forum actually.
Although with that said I do think that some of them are overrating Favors a touch.
Exhibit A:
Exhibit B:Im not saying this because Im a Jazz fan. I would not trade Favors for Griffin of the clippers. I dont trade Favors for Love, supposedly the leagues best PF. Love is also a crap defender. I would not trade Favors for no one in the league straight up other than those on 1st or 2nd team all NBA and I might not trade him for some of those guys. HE IS THAT GOOD ALREADY!
(couldn't decide what to bold on that second one tbh)He will be as good if not better than Dwight! I am extremely confident of that.
I believe in Splitter as a player and I'm probably one of his biggest fans on this forum but...
I really don't think Favors would be enough to save the Jazz but since he's way better than the other bigs at defending the pick and roll, he can definitely help their team. The gap is too wide for him to give them a better chance at winning this year or anything though. That, imo, is a little bit different from last year's Memphis series even though I do believe the Grizzlies were the better team last year.
RJ, as bad as he is, is more productive then Howard.
Howard is basically a standing walking corpse at this point in his "career."
RJ can still give you 2 points a game at least.
