My European parents did not allow me to watch Rated-R films at home growing up & I thank them for that. Instead I spent my time watching films that pertained to my age. They did their job...parenting. Look I listened to rap when I was 14 years old but at this point of my life (Post College) how can you relate to the filth & crap being mumbled on most rap tracks. Why one would one want to spend their time listening to someone complain & boast about their lives is beyond me anyway.

You have to install VALUES in your kids at a very young age. They have to treasure themselves more than material things & this is very difficult to do in America considering how important advertising is in American capitalistic culture.
