AVENGERS cast and director revealed

It will be interesting to see how they can do Thanos unless they completely change his origins... and reduce the power of the Infinity Gauntlet.

You rarely see Thanos in comics without the other half of the Marvel Universe integrated into the story e.g. Silver Surfer, Galactus, Fantastic 4... so unless Disney can buy the rights or strike a deal with Fox (Fantastic 4, Silver Surfer, X-Men) and Sony (Spider-Man) for the rights to the entire Marvel Universe....

... and then the Infinity Gauntlet... when all the Gems are collected, the user gains dominion over the universe. Thanos absolutely wipes the floor with the Avengers in the beginning of that story arc... so I'm scared another great villain will be shat upon.

It would be a smart move, long term, to have the bad guy win one of these movies eventually. That way, the set up hype for three following movie would be immense.

Also, would keep the marvel movies from becoming stale and predictable.

A few things:

1.) Clapping is re ed.
2.) The 3D was completely pointless, of course. This fad needs to die again.
3.) I honestly doubt that lefty actually saw this movie.

Yeah I saw it 3D and what a waste of money but still an awesome movie.

Oh, and another thing. (SPOILERS) I don't know why people complained that Thor got the short end of the stick. His fight against Iron Man was the best one in the movie, and he was beating Tony with his bear hands. He was getting his ass kicked by Hulk, but that was expected. The only complaint I have is that he could have caught Tony at the end instead of waiting for Hulk to do it.

Ruffalo was a great Banner and his Hulk looked the most like, well, the Hulk. Both of his scenes with Black Widow were awesome, and his scenes with Stark were great, too.

I thought Thor was going to get Tony at the end as well.

The only thing about the Thor/Tony/Cap fight you're talking about that I disliked was the fact that it was completely and apparently pointless.

Thor had just took Loki from the ship, for all Stark and Cap knew he was trying to save him. RDJ also had the "Would you look at that" one liner goods when Thor electrocuted him.

That game was too hard and Carnage sucks. After the way Venom was bungled, I doubt we'll see another symbiotic in the near future.
