typical French arrogance tbh. Napoleon could have stopped his madness and reinforce his frontiers instead of trying to get mother Russia in her nest. Bad move.

indeed, other than being pussies in wwII, the french have had an illustrious history, i'm a big fan of napoleon, he was a true genious, i've read a couple of his biographies, he was awesome in his youth, the way he took out austria on his road to dominating europe, was trully impressive

Napoleon is kinda underated tbh. Most people just know the military genius and forget the visionary and the politician, the metric system (only these dumb of English and Yankees didn't see the interest, the rest of the world is using it), the civil code, Europe frontiers definition, the unification of Italy, Germany... he has emancipated the jews, make a reality of the separation between government and religion.
