hmm, nearly forgot about that game and Pop rant.
Long before he returned to the Spurs in mid-March, forward Stephen Jackson already had contributed in a major way to the steady defensive improvement that helped his future old team secure the top seed in the Western Conference.
By torching the Spurs for 34 points in the Bucks’ 106-103 victory in Milwaukee on Jan. 10, Jackson provided Gregg Popovich a teachable moment the Spurs coach deemed worthy of hyperbole.

I thought that was when he was with Cha early in the year...? did he score 30+ against the Spurs twice this season..with two diff teams??
He got traded to Milwaukee last offseason if I recall
Not good, those were times when I was betting NBA, and this game was ending my 6 team parlay. :/
Jack made sure to let the media know it was 38 points. Its a good feeling to know that the player who torched you for the most points this year is now a current bench player. The versatilaty of Jack has made the second team better than nearly all lottery teams. Before joing the spurs he averaged 3 assists a game. I knew that his scoring wasnt going to wow me as much as his assisting/playmaking as a floor general of the 2nd unit.
Jack talking to the press isn't exactly "work" for him.
Am I alone that I still dwell on rj spurs vs present spurs?
