ok sons now you can hate on me all you want for posting facts, but what is the excuse now? during round 1 the arguments were "well its only round 1" and "its because we are playing the Utah Jazz", etc. ... now the Spurs are entering round 2 and still can't get their fans behind them. as of right now there are over 6,000 tickets available for sale on stubhub with hundreds of them going for as little as $5-7. yes for ROUND 2 OF THE NBA PLAYOFFS.
the more disturbing fact as you can see from the screen cap below is that the Memphis Grizzlies only have about 800 tickets available for games 3 and 4 combined and the cheapest tickets are around $50 yet they haven't even got out of the 1st round yet! sons why are Spur fan being so damn cheap this year whenever they have a great team to watch? I mean Grizzlies fan are already s ing out cash and supporting their team despite not even being guaranteed those games, and Spur fan still has thousands and thousands of cheap tickets available. get mad all you want, but this is flat out ridiculous.

If they're on StubHub, that means they've already been sold.
You don't know how things work.
If there are 6,000 empty seats for game one, you'll have a point.
Look at the difference between those ticket prices from the AT&T Center and the FedEx Forum. It's a good x7 to x10.![]()
So the markdown of a playoff ticket is THAT much on stubhubb? I'm sure most of those seats cost at least 20 bucks since its the playoffs but people are having to LOSE money just to get rid of them.![]()

no son it just goes to show you how low the demand is for Spurs games in San Antonio. go look at any other team in the playoffs right now and you will see their tickets are in high demand. the Spurs are slacking big time.
tbh is kinda sad though, but poor ass college students like me get to reap the benefits of living in a poor town
They need a free burrito promotion of some kind.
Exactly, every one of those seats has already been sold already, people are trying to resell them now. What is your hardon for Spurs ticket prices? I go to the game all the time, ever see what seats they are for $7? Thats the last row of the ATT center, at the very top, they are horrible seats. Post the prices of the good seats and we will talk
whoever owns those tickets are obviously having to take a loss in order to sell them. its more than likely the Spurs organization themselves or numerous local businesses buying out blocks of tickets and selling them for dirt cheap to help the Spurs fill up the upper levels.
son you do realize that reflects poorly on the fan base in the San Antonio area though? who cares if they were already sold? just look at how many people or businesses that own the tickets are having to take a financial loss just to get rid of the tickets because the demand is so damn low. most of those tickets being sold on stubhub for like $7 are more than likely a $15-$25 face value.
This is obssesion now.
TBH I want the Spurs to make the Finals so we can see $10 NBA FINALS tickets at the AT&T Center.
sons as of right now the cheapest ticket at $49 for a game 3 in Memphis that isn't even guaranteed yet is a ty 10th row in the upper level behind the goal. for $49 in San Antonio you can find tickets in the upper level near center court for game 1.
You fail to realize I don't care about the prices. The cheaper the better, why overpay more than you have to? Exactly why I don't buy season tickets, I can always get them cheaper individually. The rows I usually sit in are going for $150-250 each. I've sat in the row those $7 seats are in, and it was a awful experience, you could barely see the court.
son if the Spurs make the finals (which they probably will) I will fly over for a game. the flight and hotel will be the only real expense.
I agree son, I remember I paid $70 to sit in the last row of the At&T Center for games 3 & 4 two years ago against the Mavs. Though against the Jazz, game one was kinda empty in the upper level, and in some rows there was about two people in about the fifteen seats in that row. I guess because the early start time, though game two seemed like almost a sell out. It's crazy how cheap these tickets are going, I guess that means cheaper final tickets except paying $200 to sit in the nosebleeds in the finals.![]()
with respect son
sons its just mind boggling to me that the demand is so low for such a damn good team this season. I mean I can't even get into a mid-season LSU basketball game vs North Texas for as cheap as I could round 2 of the NBA playoffs in San Antonio.
Get it through your pea-sized skull. We've been in the playoffs for 15 straight years and won 4 championships. People don't give a about the 1st or 2nd rounds. Any season that ends without an O'Brien is a failure. Have the playoffs even started yet?
All BR is stating facts and spur fan is getting butthurt from it for some reason. He isn't making up . Just layin out FACTS
why the language? I understand you may be upset, but no reason to be rude.
son just curious though do you plan on attending any of the games to support your team?
Why aren't Laker tickets that cheap then? They've had even more success than your team.
Just admit that SA has ty fan support and would rather eat burritos on the river walk than support their own damn good team.
This might like dikes, but he sure as know how to lift the skirt of spurfan.
