OKC will win
Re ed homer till the end.
The first solid basketball take you ever had. Congrats.

the Lakers can hope for a rusty OKC team and squeak out a Game 1 victory
What has OKC shown you in the playoffs that would make me think any differently? How many banners do they have? Has Kobe not ever shut down Westbrook? Has MWP ever made Durant shoot 30 times for his 30 points? Has Bynum not had his way with Porkins? Can Hill not neutralize Collison?
So many questions. Thing is, the Lakers have answered them before. Why should I think any differently now?
Go ahead. Crown them. I hope they feel the same way. En lement will get you beat.
This was the same "basketball fan" who didn't know who Kenneth Faried was until Game 1.![]()
Yep. I don't watch NCAAs. Shoot me.
nice troll job
I appreciate your homerism, LkrFn. I really do.
Why not? Because we expectantly started slowly and have been inconsistent? Playoffs are about defense and rebounding. We got them both.
I could care less about winning in style. Wins are wins.
These playoffs? They just obliterated Dallas... what have the Lakers shown you these playoffs?
I'm not trolling. Nor am I throwing in the towel. I believe.
They don't telecast the March Madness in the AFN?
Nuggz averaged almost 97 ppg... what defense?
That they can win a pressure packed game 7 by...
Holding the highest scoring team to 87 points on 39.3% FGAs
Bynum/Gasol defensively combined for 35 rebounds and 10 swats
MWP held Gallo and Miller to 2-19 FGAs with 10 TOs
We don't need 50 from Kobe to win. Even in a game 7
We'll be fine hommie.![]()
The Lakers can beat anyone in the league if they play the game right. They have the pieces. I don't know how drama will unfold in the Bynum/Brown thing, or who will be injured or suspended, but I can see LA taking OKC to 7, and if OKC is dragging ass in the 1st game, I see LA stealing one.
I'd say Lakers in 6. OKC will loose the first game and game 4
They do. I just rarely watch NCAAs other than powerhouse teams like UNC or Kentucky tbh.
Because the Thunder are simply a better team. Furthermore, if you want to revisit history, a much younger and worse Thunder team than the current one was a Gasol tip away from forcing a game 7 against a much, much better Lakers team than the one playing now.
Denver is basically Thunder-lite, but is nowhere near as good defensively and lack a superstar, and you escaped them in 7. And no, Artest wouldn't have changed much. He played 44 minutes tonight and this was a one possession game for much of the 4th quarter.
Your takes have been wrong all year. From declaring that Murphy and McRoberts will be a suitable replacement for Odom. From thinking Ramon Sessions actually plays defense
. Not to mention a bunch of other stupid, homer inspired opinions I can't recall at the moment (I think you might've predicted the Jazz to upset the Spurs, or at least take 'em to 7).
You're a homer. You overrate everything when it comes to the Lakers.
