That they can win a pressure packed game 7 by...

Holding the highest scoring team to 87 points on 39.3% FGAs
Bynum/Gasol defensively combined for 35 rebounds and 10 swats
MWP held Gallo and Miller to 2-19 FGAs with 10 TOs
We don't need 50 from Kobe to win. Even in a game 7

    We'll be fine hommie.
There's not going to be a game 7 against OKC

If you told me you think LA can win 2 games against OKC, then I would call you an optimist... but barring any major injuries on OKC, this Lakers team has no chance in ...

LkrFn is the quintessential laker fan. Leave him alone, tbh.

Sure, he knows very little about basketball but I appreciate his homerism from the start as opposed to gots who only show up after a win.

The Jazz also held the second highest scoring team to 87 points in their final game. Once teams play a few games against each other, they start figuring out each other's tendencies, resulting in lower scoring as the series unfolds.

Nuggz averaged almost 97 ppg... what defense?
Scoring is what they do. Kind of like the Suns. In the end the cream rises to the top.

Versus OKC, we actually matchup well (defensively) against them. At any given time, we can...

Throw Kobe (or MWP) on WB
    MWP on Durant
    MWP on Harden
    Pau on Ibaka
    Bynum on Porkins
    Hil on Collison

Will they get loose every now and then? Yes. But as I stated above, we match up with them defensively. That, and our rebounding will give us a great opportunity to beat these guys.

Lakers will push the Thunder to six or 7 and can win.

It depends on who handles the rock for the Thunder in the fourth. If Harden runs the point, I like the Thunder. If Westbrook is running the point in the 4th of close games....I give the nod to the Lakers.

I would love to be wrong though and see the Thunder win in 5.

Regular season. We can concentrate solely on them now.

In one of them games, Westbrook couldn't miss. I guarantee you that won't happen in these playoffs.

I get the rest thing to a point, but I think that the Lakers keeping a regular season pace will do well for them. I don't like the B2B, but it's at LA so it's not a big deal.

I think all that time off for the Thunder might be more of a detriment than playing on one day's rest will be for the Lakers. You could see Artest winded in the 1st half, and that's how the entire Thunder team will be at the start.

No problem with you saying the Lakers win the series.

But to say the matchups are in their favor is just not an accurate statement. OKC is the worst matchup left for the Lakers, including MIA tbh.

Everything the Nuggets had success with against LA, OKC can pretty much match or improve upon. And every weakness the Nuggets had, the Thunder are better at.

If the Lakers win the series, it'll be because of a injury or their role players playing out of their ing minds.

The cards are definitely stacked in OKC's favor no matter how you slice it but as you pointed out, that's why they play the games.

Does this ring a bell? This after WB torched Sessions for 36. 3/22 says high.

Like I said, Kobe is in WB's head. This series will be no different.

Tonight Lawson was killing us again per the usual. 13 points in the 3rd - which turned our 16 point lead into a 4 point deficit. Kobe was put on Lawson. He was never heard from again. 4th qtr bagel, Laker win.

    that .
