I'm fairly ignorant about the TX Senate race. Ted Cruz is a cypher, David Dewhurst is experienced, impeccably qualified and personable, but vaguely unsettling to me.

I have no idea who else is running but I presume, since we're in Texas, that the winner of the GOP primary (Dewhurst) will of course be the eventual winner.

I'll probably end up throwing my vote away on some genial nonen y I agree with only partially and am barely familiar with, merely to register my strong and abiding disapproval off the two major parties.

Cornyn is awful. His turn as TX AG kindly soured me on him, his tenure in the US Senate has served to confirm and deepen my initial disagreeable impressions.
