I think I'm gonna have nightmares of Lawson tearing up the Lakers defense for days.

Holy this little guy is good. 3rd year PG and looks like he's in his 6th. I put it down to learning from Finals MVP and Former Team Captain Chauncey Billups

In the immortal words of Floyd Mayweather: "That Midget Ain't "

He had a good series like JJ Berea did last season...he's one and done....don't max him out Denver you'll be sorry you did...and of course I expect all the little guys like DPG , Raray, and BR - ButtHurt 4 Real Hornet to sing his praises..

I'm with DPG on this one (i know, shocking ) but both have been very good.

I like the way Lawson controls tempo but Lowry to me is the better half-court PG ..I might kill a distant relative to have either on the Lakers right now ...
what's the point...A D-Will will do just fine...why have a guard that fast with no one to run with him ...All you gotta do is post his midget ass up in the paint...to neutralize him...our only problem is we don't have a guard willing to do that like a Chauncy Billups would ...He looks ok on defense as long as he's double teaming but dude can't play defense we just let him off the hook this series

As a New York native...How did it feel for you to go from being a Knick fan to a Cavs, fan, to a Heat fan?

C'mon, Ty Lawson was dirty in college. It's not like he came out of nowhere. And I'm not going to call him clutch, but someone who has 8 steals in a national championship game which resulted in a win isn't a LeScrub either.

Kobe's defense on Lawson, the last 6 minutes was pretty solid tbh. And this was the reason the Nuggets never came back.

Pau Gasol is still the leader of the Lakers, imo tbh. That's what spurfans said.

^ Duck Tales. While I love Gasol, he doesn't have the mentality to lead the Lakers. I love how Kobe built his teammates confidence in this one game in prepartion for OKC, particularly Blake, Barnes (who sucked) and MWP. When I was watching the games last night, I absolutely admire Kobe's game plan. He did all the little things that helped his teammates psych. The extra passes to Blake and MWP gave those two guys huge confidence last night.

Back on topic. Yeah. Kobe is a fesity defender. He did a tremendous job on Westbrook and Rondo before but his defense on Lawson last night was phenomenal. There was one sequence where Ty ISO's Kobe tried to shake him up with a cross while driving to the basket and Kobe held his ground and forced Lawson to make that extra pass. That was impeccable defense. Ramon Sessions should take notes.

^A golden example of why PGs lose in the playoffs. They blow whenever a bigger defender gets switched onto them.

Wil all that being said, Kobe better not make 1st or 2nd All Team defense this year
