Love it!
Asked what he thought about finishing fourth in the Rookie of the Year voting:
"I wasn’t really looking at the rankings. It’s an individual honor. Congratulations to whoever won it."
Are we sure this kid isn't a robot built to fit perfectly onto this team?
"Congrats to whoever won that individual award. I'm thrilled for you."
The black Gregg Popovich...right down to the pimple.
Out of the top 12 ROY vote getters, Kawhi is the only one still in the playoffs. Stud.

"Leave it the Spurs to find the only player in NBA history to show less emotion than Tim Duncan. Hit a three-pointer, made an impressive pass off a spin move to Blair, and was an all around fourth quarter terror without so much as a blink. Maybe Tim can teach him how to make his eyes bigger."
Individual honors mean nothing. It's who's hoisting the LOB Trophy at the end and who get's to hang a(nother) banner from their rafters at the start of the NEXT season.
That's one of the reasons why LeBronda got the MVP because He WON'T be hoisting any other hardware in June.
MVP this year is a consolation prize.
Go. SPURS. GO.
:lob :lob :lob :lob :lob
I want him to crucify King Flop tonight
Got to love Kwami
We have our young Duncan personality, we need someone who is like a young Admiral.
Yeah when I heard it I was like gosh this dude has been trained well already. In a lockout season? C.I.A Pop is on ithe most certainly deserved Coach of the Year honors lol
Charles Barkley
Kenny said he would pay Barkley $100 if he could say his name right, and he still needed coaching from Ernie.
So is this.
I have failed

There are only two known androids in the known universe, Kawhi and Data.

Kawhi is a beast on and off the court.Gotta love him...
The kid must have a closet full of skeletons or something... like a Jeffrey Dahmer
It's always the quiet ones.
"Congratulations to whoever won it"? That's a classic. If it was anybody else, I'd think he was full of crap. But I really believe that Kawhi is looking at the next game, and didn't even know who won Rookie of the Year. It's a beatiful thing.
Exactly what I was thinking. He's a ROOKIE--been preparing to play in the NBA for years now, and in his first year, he's STARTING for a contender? If I were in his spot, I wouldn't be able to help but take a peek at the ROY rankings. What a stud, both on and off the court--that's gangsta.
Here's to you, Kawhi. So ing classy![]()
