Get used to what you saw to closeout the 2nd because its going to become worse as time goes on. If you think the Spurs are going to miss as many easy layups and if you think players like Martin are going to keep shooting outside jumpers then you're in for some sadness.
That was not a great Spurs first half. They played well to finish the half, but thats about it.

Count on it. The Clips have focused on Tony, but they won't be able to keep him bottled forever. By the 4th quarter, he'll be running around them.

Remember that terrible game against the Lakers that Tony had after sitting out for a few days? I think this is the same thing. Still in all, he has one more point than CP and two fewer assists. Yes, his turnovers are up, but the entire Clipper team is focusing on him.

Spurs going 7/11 on 3s in second half seems about as likely as Martin staying hot from the top of the key. Biggest issue for Clips is their best bigs simply cannot spread the floor and command ZERO respect from outside.
Biggest issue for Spurs is get something resembling the TP we all know and love. We knew that was Clips biggest potential advantage though, their quality cadre of small Gs.
All in all about what we'd expect, Spurs a bit off and Clips come out ready to play.
And, in a nuts , Clips are playing our game, shootout, we'll see if their tired bodies can hang in against our rested group consisting of perhaps the deepest top to bottom roster in NBA history.
Clips fans behave, or we might just stick our 12th and 13th men in there (Blair/Mills) and really embarrass ya!
