If Durant gave up the rock a few more times, this game wouldn't have been this close. It's like he's trying to emulate Kobe out there.

Not ever. The funny thing is Ibaka had almost the same number of shots than Durant in this game.

Westbrook is the leader of the team, tbh, this has been evident for a while..

    Durant doesn't command respect..

Those were good shots though...not chucked shots.

Almost all of those shots were created off the penetration of Westbrook. Westbrook chucks too much but Durant needs to step up and be more aggressive.

Scoring Westbrook is Bestbrook, when you have a Westbrook looking to pass first the offense dies because everyone just watches Durant ala last years playoffs. In theory yes more Westbrook shots = worse chance of winning, true but with westbrooks it hard to balance it out so they let him look to score since it's better then the "stand still and watch Durant" game.

That was by design by the Lakers defense. Westbrook had to pass it...he had no where to go.

I agree with you though that Durant needs to be more assertive. He has tendencies to be passive for long stretches of games like Lebron used to when facing a tough defense.
