Hey, somebody remember Pop that that boy with the number 20 on his back is pretty good. He didn't get a single play called for him in his second stretch in the floor.

Spurs played about as bad as they possibly could on offense, and the clippers are making bunch of bs contested jumpers, but we are still up.

Tiago needs to step the up and act like he has touched a basketball a couple of times in his life. ed up all momentum, imo.

Timmy needs to get more touches in the post or pnr. He need the ball and often.

    Threes should start falling.

Clips are 5-8 from 3. Double the FTs of the Spurs. SA shooting 30% from downtown, and we're up 4. Wow.

More Diaw, Duncan and Jackson please.

Less Manu 3's, Parker jumpshots and Bonner defense.

When he played the point he turned into Chuckobili, also missed a lay up on a play for him.

    Going into half time:

    - Neal has been reduced to a liability. He needs to play the same role Green does on offense and try his best to do the same on defense.
    - Splitter is still playing poorly.
    - Front court in general needs to step it up. If Bonner plays in the 2nd half then he needs to continue to shoot with confidence.
    - Clippers forcing us to iso and that really hurt our offense.

Biggest factor in that 2nd quarter was the Clippers shooting and how it affected the pace. All in all, they played very well in the 2nd quarter and they are still down at half. I'm not worried. I expect Pop to make better adjustments at the half than Vinny.

meh missed open threes. Defense is still solid.

Knock down our open shots and we should be able to get a comfortable lead going into the 4th.

LOL counting on Neal for any defense just means he shouldn't play. And considering the opponents, maybe he shouldn't.

    Manu's analysis is spot-on
But Manu contributed to that big lead evaporation by jacking many needless 3s and that influences the rest of the team to make similar decisions. When you have a comfortable 1st half lead in 8-15 points or so, there is no need to continue jacking 3s with a lot of time left on the clock. You should continue to move the ball, waste more time, find better shots. Try to preserve the lead.

Every now and then when Manu quarterbacks the offense with a few other bench players he falls in the trap of playing desperate offense when the team needs the exact opposite.

Look, at the half Tony has 8 points, three assists, three rebounds, three steals, and has been aggressive. He is fine. Tim is fine. Manu is Manu. Diaw is awesome against Griffin.

We will be okay but we must have come to the conclusion that LA 's benches better than our bench and we have to play our first team more. Isn't this why we game them so much time off during the season?

Pop is the reason we lost the lead in the first place, got y, leash was way too long on the bench. TP and Tim are +13, the bench is getting owned since the first minute they got in this series, Pop didn't make any ajustements so far. The starters can play heavy minutes, they rested for a long time. Not like we have a choice.

Btw can someone confirm that Diaw took the fool on Jordan? Worst mistake so far if true.

Thanks. Yeah reading the comments it looks like the Spurs played like in the 2nd quarter. Still have a 4 point lead into halftime. Let's hope they step it up in the 2nd half.
