Good invite but I don't think he'd cut it though. We already have a guard that needs developing (Cory Joseph) and I doubt the Spur would go American with the 59th pick.
Pac-12 Player of the Year and Defensive of the Year Jorge Gutierrez who finished his senior season with California, has been invited to a Spurs Rookie Camp, it was informed by Lincoln High School's facebook page (Jorge's high school):
"Good luck to former Lincoln Lancer Jorge Gutierrez as he works out for the San Antonio Spurs and the New Jersey Nets in the next few weeks!"
I think that's good news for the Spurs, he is a hard worker and a very good defensive player, on the other side his offense is from average to poor but he could be worth a late 2nd round pick.

Looks like a Hispanic Joakim Noah
I hate the current state of journalism. How can you invite someone to camp BEFORE the ing draft?
He has been invited for a workout, obviously not camp.
According to Mexican-language site Terra, California guard Jorge Gutierrez is set to workout for the San Antonio Spurs in the coming weeks.
Aside from Gutierrez, the Spurs are also reportedly looking at Purdue forward Robbie Hummel.
It appears the Spurs are gearing up for next season as the NBA Draft nears.

I have seen Robbie Hummel live in Lafayette a couple of times. He'd be an upgrade over Bonner TBH
Yep 6'3'' PG
My Bad, wrong terminology when i translated the article.

Looks promising, he's a Junior so more experience than Joseph and somehow, he is more ready too.
i think i've actually seen him play before.. looks familiar..
but that'd be good for san antonio if he pans out very well.. he'd be a hit with the locals

he's not a good fit for the Spurs. Maybe draft and trade?
Why not a good fit?
