The Clips are already a beaten team.
The Clips are already a beaten team.
I wouldn't laugh to hard about it. Nothing fights harder than a cornered, injured animal.
They fought the Grizz through a game 7 on the road and came away with the win. That makes them a tough, resilient team.
Spurs will win the series, but I'm not doubting the Clips will make them work hard for it. That's OK, cuz OKC or the Lakers will make them work for each W. This last game seems pretty physical, it's just going to intensify on the road now, so let em bring it.
Especially a monkey. Those ers are mean.
Why are you laughing? Nothing funny about it.
If the Clippers win game 3 then all the pressure is on the Spurs to win game 4.
Personally I dont think the Spurs will sweep mainly because of the back to back. They will lose 1 of 2 at Staples. I'd like the Spurs to win game 3 most though. Losing game 3 and having to win game 4 will be a . Could easily drop both if the former happens.
I think they'll probably win one of them but no way both.
I love the generic response when a team goes down 0-2: "They did what they were supposed to do." As if that team is not "supposed" to win on the road. So stupid.
Its going to be difficult for the Spurs to win the B2B but the good news is they have 24+ hours rest between games.
Translation...there's no freakin way we can beat them two nights in a row. They did what they're supposed to do," Clippers forward Caron Butler said in reference to the Spurs. "They won two games at home. Now we got to do what we're supposed to do. We got to win Game 3 and obviously Game 4 is back to back, so it's a challenge and we're up to it."
I am not sure the Clippers can win. They shot 60% on 3's last game and that wasn't good enough. They can't stop the Spurs on offense and can't score enough points against them.
Paul physically has very little left.. They may get one of these games
But both..
No...
until a team can show us any different by beating us... i believe we can win out
Clippers just played their 4th game in 6 nights and are banged up and tired as after a grueling Griz series. They have to play a b2b starting only 36 hours after their game 2 drubbing. They have to play the best team in the league that shows no sign of letting up, who have no injuries to speak of, that are clicking on all cylinders, and were the only team to win BOTH of their b2b2b series this season. Spurs sweep the weekend games easy, and the series. Book it.
is this suposed to be funny?
the confidence is overflowing on this forum (and its deserved), but eventually you're eventually gonna lose a game. not saying its gonna be against the clippers, although it might happen, but when the spurs lose a single game i wanna see the chaos/finger-pointing/misery that occurs here.
Its always chaos here when the Spurs lose a game.
We don't have much experience losing, so it's understandable the emos come out of the woodwork. We have only lost 3 times in the last 33 games and are blowing everybody out of whatever building we play in. Give me a realistic scenario where the Spurs lose 4 of 7.
they've lost 4 of their last 5 games, and they're supposed to get 2 in a row
Okc is on its way to back to back sweeps that are more impressive than ours, there's zero garanty that we beat them.
If we sweep the Clippers and the OKC-LAL series goes 7 games, I wonder if we'll have eight days off between the end of the WCSF and start of the WCF again.
Spurs will win tomorrow. Can't lose a money bet.
OKC might be the speedbump that makes us play 11 more games instead of 10.
Clippers can focus all they want until their eye's bleed and they get an aneurysm..... They are not beating this Spurs team.
They have a better chance of focusing on Mars and seeing the rovers with the naked eye.
