The Closer.
If the Lakers lose, it goes to Bynum. He's getting pushed around down low by Perkins and 90% of the time isn't even in position to catch the ball.
I'm not a fan of the Kobe ISO in crunch time but LA doesn't have any other choice. So of course Bryant's gonna get the blame regardless.
yes it is on Bynum for not grabbing Kobe by the throat and threatening his existence if he shoots again without passing it into the paint at least once every possession.....
come on... Kobe isn't giving that ball up... I agree that Bynum disappeared, but they didn't look for him much at all...
If you don't agree with me, just watch Perkins/Bynum closely in game 6.
It's amazing how aggressive/efficient Bynum is when anybody else is guarding him. Perkins is in his head. Even when he gets the ball he's unable to back Perkins down and throws up a weak shot like he did late in the 4th. That's when they can even get it to him. All Perkins usually has to do is step in front and Bynum quits.
Look, I'm not a Kobe fanboy by any means. I just wanna see the team do well, and it's impossible with Bynum getting abused as much as he his by Perkins
This one's on the whole Lakers team - blowing that 13 point lead to fall flat on their faces.
Epic Fail.
The End.
I have good news for you though... next game is a closeout game, and those are easy for Bynum...
whats the chances of bynum bolting a sinking ship end of the season, no point siginin on to play with a chucker who wont pass the ball
Funy thing... This loss is on everyone but the Lakers roleplayers.
They played decent. Their Big 3 just failed.
bynum allowing the offensive putback by perkins
+
possession where lakers practically threw the ball to durant which setup the game winner
+
some dumb chucks by kobe
=
lakers
None. It's aa team option. They may trade him if he makes too much noise.
But I think the Lakers will trade Gasol first.
Kobe Bryant misses 16-foot two point shot
Kobe Bryant misses 22-foot jumper
Kobe Bryant misses 6-foot two point shot
Kobe Bryant misses 25-foot three point jumper

It's not on Bynum (though he failed on that Perkins 2).
It's on Gasol. It's on Kobe (and not because of the choke). It's on Brown.
It's hard to be in position to catch the ball off a single pass when you're being fronted consistently. Everyone who knows about basketball understands they just decided feeding Bynum requires too much patience and planning. It's way easier to just let Kobe do whatever he wants.
Bynum looks tired out there. TBQFH, Kobe did what he could the entire game until he missed what could have been the game-tying three. When the Durant hit the three-ball and then Kobe missed his, I knew for certain that Kobe isn't the same player anymore. The torch has been passed.
its on whoever didn't gameplan for OKC fronting Bynum, cause in the entire course of basketball everywhere. I guess nobody knows how to counter that.
this one is on Bryant. He was playing all alone, and choke it by himself.
