Sloppy end to the half. Spurs definitely have to regroup now.

Duncan, Leonard, Green, Splitter, and Neal have shown up.

Jackson waking up some. Parker is ok.

    Ginobili has to wake up.

Hopefully Diaw will have a better half.

Spurs got away from the pick and roll. I wonder why. They were killing the Clippers with backdoor cuts and pick and roll.
Yes, Absolutely no logical reason why Pop does that.

Damn, that was a weak ending to the half. It looked like the starters came back stiff after an extra long rest. The overall execution and intensity just isn't that great right now.

Gotta play with extra juice in the second half. I'm okay with a loss but not because there's a lack of energy.

    Play better.

    Stay healthy.

    End it.

    Believe.

Wouldn't a mouthguard still leave the bottom teeth uncovered, which would make sense as Griffin's upper lip was punctured.

You guys crack me up. Spurs played uninspired ball after that 14-0 run and they are still up at the half.

The real question needs to be "what does this team need to do to lose?"

Kind of surprised the Spurs have a half lead, figured they'd be on cruise tonight and just keep it close then finish strong. The starters looked like they've gone about half intensity other than Leonard following that 9-4 deficit time out. If they can turn it on in the 3rd they can end it.

I think they should have pads on their legs to protect themselves and the players, or just back the up. They have high end lenses, backboard mounted cameras and all that. They need to back up and there needs to be a padded area where players fall and don't get hurt.

Ideal for the Spurs would be to win tonight, Thunder win tomorrow night, start WCFs in 3 days.

We were very rusty in the first half of game 1 after the week off, can't afford to do that against OKC.

Oh, we're trying to play pick and roll.

Problem is 90% of our picks are utterly ineffective.

I think Splitter had 1 or 2 reasonably solid picks for Tony in the game so far, and that's about it. Other than that, the angles our guards are coming off the picks have been totally off.

There have been many cases where the defenders on Tony end up perpendicular to the long sideline and the big should run to middle immediately (receiving a pass from Tony), but that hasn't happened at all. Ginobili's probably better at recognizing this situation.

In the Utah series, I thought 90% of our picks were extremely effective and everything came easy.
