fck him and his post game interview thinkn we are bot the best team on the planet, we just swept ur ass
his got a good jumper which i think we can dare him to take all the time,
his post game is bull
tbh, I hadn't watched many Clippers games this season. Was this series pretty indicative of Blake Griffin's game? Or did the Spurs just handle him better than other teams? He wasn't very impressive. Doesn't seem to be able to create his own shot. Doesn't have a good jumper. Really not good playing with his back to the basket.

I like him. Seems like a good kid and busts his ass. Hope he stays healthy
He's working on his post game and his jumper, and not just sticking with his SportsCenter game, so I think that's a positive sign. It seems like he wants to be a well-rounded basketball player, and knows what he needs to do to get there.
Hopefully he'll get the coaching he needs to make it happen, because he seems like a great kid.
Nothing but good things are said about him. Great role model. I know he cares and wants to become a complete player. Needs to go to some big man camps this Summer
Love child of Matt Bonner and Amare Stoudamire. The looks of Bonner, the body of Amare.
He has a game predicated on his physicality, specifically, how high he can jump for his dunks. Much like Amare, he relies on others to get his opportunities. He does not do well trying to create his own shot. CP3 was the best thing to ever happen to him.
Not to mention that his facial features and bone structure make him look like a ' the majority of the time.
I like him too. And I have to disagree with the OP, I think his jumper was better than I remembered; he also has a nice touch off the glass.
Yeah, he should go to a Pete Newell-type, "no dunking" camp.
I'm quite impressed with what I saw from BG in the series. When the Spurs are letting him take jumpers, he took them. It shows that he wants to add that arsenal into his game so as not be one-dimensional type of player that he is right now. I'm also impressed with his post moves as he has an impressive footwork and is able to back down his defender to make that hook shot of his. Give him about 2-4 years. With the right work ethic, he will achieve that.
Blake Griffin is the most overrated player in basketball imo. Anyone that saw Barkley and Smith after game 4, they were completely right. Griffin has no other skillset aside from being fed dunks from Paul and making "ooo"s and "aaahh"s from the crowd for sportscenter highlights.
No jumper. No post moves. Crap defense, aside from the default "I'm huge" defense. He's good at flopping though. I guess that's a facet of the game?
PS those shots off the glass were good, but you could tell it's something he's only recently working on. I'm not saying the guy CAN'T get good at the things I mentioned. Just that he's not now. And it's 3 years into his career, he needs to get with the program. The dude is making millions to win games.
Blake griffin can turn into a really special player. He's young and has a very good worth ethic . Right now he relys on getting above the rim, his jumper isn't too bad, as soon as he starts being a stud at posting up guys there is no doubt he will be a top 5 pf. But as of right now there are too many holes in his game. good future.
He reminds me a little of Stoudemire pre-jumpshot. Stoudemire at the height of his power in '05 averaged 37 against us. He had the jumper going and the power game. He was virtually unguardable.
He's been playing injured and it definitely shows.
He's only played two seasons and this year was a lockout season. He's only 23. Still have time to work on his game. If he doesn't he'll just be Amare 2.0.
I don't think he played too bad in game 3 and 4 tbh.
He shoots 54% in free throws this season. 54% ... come on. Any professional Basketball player who shoots below 66% shouldn't be paid.
He needs to get better with his left hand but that right handed hook shot has been there all year. When you can leap like that no one is getting to that shot off the right block. As he gets better technically --and he does work at this game-- he will become even more of a force.
Him making jumpers was new. Clippers fans have to be excited about his future.
I agree with this
Remember when Kemp had an MVP type season in 95-96
Kemp worked his ass off in the summer of 95
Hopefully Blake doesnt become a fat later
Griffin had a tough second season but fought through it as you'd expect from a player of his calibre. I think the young Amare comparisons are pretty accurate. On offence, he has incredible quickness and body control for his size, but lacks polish. His jumper is much improved from his rookie year but still needs work, as does his post game - nice spin moves and great strength, but lacks a left hand and a polished go-to move and counter. I think those are things he'll pick up over the next 2 years. And if he ever becomes a reliable jump-shooter from 15-18ft, watch out! On D he's strong with quick feet and hands, but has short arms - he's unlikely to ever be a great defender, but should continue to be competent, as long as he focusses on good positioning and stealing with those quick hands.
Blake is a long way from the finished article, and when he does refine some of his skills he will be a major handful.
Most of the problem with his jumper is he has this horrible hitch in it.
That said, David Robinson had one and seemed to do ok...
He was clearly injured.
Whaty i loved about this series is how san antonio held him to just one highlight worthy play until game 4
He's an athletic freak who can run, and jump out of the gym. If he can create some low post moves and/or a jumper he could be unstoppable...
He should probably start wearing a knee brace as a preventative measure with as much pressure he exerts on them during a single game. At least he has a softer landing than Greg Oden tbh.
