My boss is pretty cool. I'll probably ask her if she'll do me a solid and take call for the rest of the evening Sunday so I can watch the game with beer in hand.

Good luck spurs
LG.net mods are busy...
They closing the entire 1st page. Full of locked threads! :O
Stern's got some work to do this summer.
We don't need luck. We need a miracle.
Kobe was going to shoot them out of the series... what you called right was Fisher leaving was going to make it worse
Thanks Banzai... good luck next season![]()
Props to the Laker fans who stuck around to take their lumps tonight. You'll get to return the favor soon enough. OKC looking unstoppable.
You're fretting about Kobe and Fisher not shaking hands and interacting...Andrew Bynum did not shake hands with anyone.
Thanks.![]()
I have Laker fans celebrating their teams failures because they'd rather them lose than DPG be right.
Really? I think not. It'll be a great series, but the odds are pretty much even to start it.
He probably thinks there's a Game 6, tbh![]()
this series gonna depend on what memos get sent to the officials
If OKC doesn't turn it over, they will be tough.
Like I said they are better. Brent Barry just made the same point we don't have enough creators. Just because we could of shoulda won game 2 doesn't mean OkC doesn't turnaround and beat us game 3. Know u want to blame Kobe feel free. But pretty sure youdont know MY team better than I do. OKC was better by over 6 games in the regular season beat us 2 of 3 in regular season head2head and won 4 of 5 in the playoffs. They are just better
watching a replay of that ridiculous and1 by westbrook breaks my heart![]()
Congrats to the Thunder and fans! Well-deserved series win!
Lakers give away 2 games with poor decisions and clutch play and only a couple players play with any heart in an elimination game. Lot’s of changes coming in the off season.
Pau actually came back with an effort in game 5 but Bynum gets a couple early fouls and decides to check out mentally by halftime. Pau is gone no doubt. Bynum, though having a decent year and going injury free again shows he does not have the mental makeup to be a consistent great. I have no doubts Drew will be playing with his Porches and toys tomorrow and saying something like “oh well, it happens, my life is good regardless”. I would not be surprised if he is also dealt.
World Peace was one of the few besides Kobe who plays with heart but will be gone as well due to financial and age considerations.
Sessions had the dream point guard job handed to him during the season and played decently. We all knew he wasn’t a star but felt he could hold his own and be a decent PG by giving the Lakers an element of speed at the position they so lacked. And for the most part he did during the season. Playoffs arrived and he wilted quicker than lettuce in the sun. He will not be a Laker next season.
Brown will unfortunately be given at least one more year if only for financial reasons. He did a decent job at developing the defense but his offensive game time adjustments and inability to motivate the one big advantage the Lakers had (Bynum & Gasol) on a consistent nightly basis was nothing short of pathetic.
Kobe had a good game but definitely was a reason in the two late game loss meltdowns that should have been wins. His trust issues need to be addressed as well as the supporting cast’s heart and effort issues. Win or lose, shoot great or terrible, you cannot deny that he at least brings it.
Good luck to the Spurs and Thunder. I have no doubts the winner of the WCF will win the le. The Parker vs. Westbrook matchup will be very interesting and will decide the series IMO.
Regardess… Do not let Boston win a le if they should luck out and get there.
Keep it in the WEST!!!!!

Watching that entire sequence makes me want to punch Ramon Sessions in the face.
Cobbler, why would other teams want LAs garbage?
Not really, not with Pau settling for shots from beyond the free throw line. In game 5, when he finally decided to attack the basket, it was already too late. Then you have Bynum, you know he's capable of delivering but then he has one of those games where he decides to play like he doesn't give a . This series is definitely not all on Kobe.
