Although Spurs in 4 sounds outrageous, I get the feeling this will not be a long series. One team will catch fire (even more than they're on now) and run away with the series. So a sweep or 5-game series is very possible.

Spurs in 7 tbh, I thInk spurs fans are under estimating them.
I think exactly the same. I think iŽll go to a 7th game, a close one and will be decided in cluth time.

So many times in sports, the games do not live up to the hype. And make no mistake, there will be a lot of hype for this series ... heck, I'm expecting an epic battle. That's why a lopsided result might not be too shocking.

I am not underestimating OKC at all. They are a great team, but I'm going with the Spurs in 5. A 5-game series might not qualify as epic ... but I expect each game to be epic (something to the level of Spurs-Mavs '06 ... the most entertaining series of all time IMO, sadly with a bad ending).

OKC is good. Don't know how you can underestimate them after watching this series. Spurs gotta be mentally prepared for a battle, and i'm confident they will be. Manu's gonna have to play better. And everyone's gonna have to bring their A-Game. That said, Sunday can't come soon enough. Go Spurs.
    +1...

I am really nervous but confident.

This is why they play the game and not take a poll of media and analysts to determine the winner ...

That said, I have to return to reading and lurking the troll threads and ing about why we don't get props from so and so...

OKC is really, really good. They will undoubtedly be the most formidable opponent, and biggest challenge, the Spurs will face in this year's playoffs. I also believe that which ever team wins this series will win the NBA championship.

Having said all that, I have two slightly bold predictions:
    1. If the Spurs hold serve and win their 2 games in S.A., they will likely sweep the Thunder.

    2. If the Spurs manage to sweep the Thunder, regardless of who the Eastern Conference opponent is, they will then run another sweep in the NBA Finals, thereby becoming the first team in NBA history to go undefeated in route to an NBA Championship.

    You heard it here first.

I don't think there's any way in that the Spurs sweep this Thunder team.

I will say, though, that I'm laughing at the idea that the Thunder are flying under the radar.

if we sweep OKC then we'll also sweep Miami/Boston... I just don't see it happen. I'm not afraid of OKC, cause they are the same thing as Miami is with their 3 players. The Spurs will just have to limit one of them. I guess Westbrook won't be scoring 30 a game, but if Durant, Westbrook and Harden do score around 70-80 then we're ed. Both teams are shooting teams, but we also got bigs that can do some great things on offense, while OKC with Perks and Ibaka are not really that great. Plus, there is Sefolosha who's there just to play defense. I do think Tim will have a tought time under the rim and won't score 20+ every game, but that's OK if our shooters and our bench guys play good. It will be a good series, I hope it's Spurs in 6, but I wouldn't be that surprised if OKC wins it.

This Spurs team is just special, how they take one game at a time how after one game they focus on the next game and prepare for the next game only. Pop has done one of the best coaching jobs of his career this season. The Spurs were one and done last season!!! and now look at this team. The Spurs are doing all of this and Manu isnt playing like Manu thats most craziest thing out of this whole thing. Just imagine if Manu starts to play like Manu, Spurs in 5/6

Going 8-1 against the Mavs and Lakers is more impressive to me than going 8-0 against the Jazz and Clipps.

    Much respect to OKC.
Yea but we own OKC so it's moot.

Just let Westbrook be a scorer, he want's be the one deep down inside anyway. Let his treacherous kung-fu be the demise of their team.

Durant isn't demanding enough to slap Westbrook over the head and tell him wtf are you doing.

I think the major decider will be if thunder are capable of playing more than one style of ball. I dont see that as a possibility. One will have to see the scores to even realize this series was close, Spurs in 5 maybe even 4.

lol, how about providing the complete box score and game summary for each game? If you come close, then I'll be really impressed.
