Catwoman fighting looks suspect in that preview
You already decided that it was suspect before you even saw the movie, so it's not so much of a surprise that you would come to that conclusion after watching a half a second of her fighting.

Catwoman looks pretty lame but not nearly as lame as Scarlett Johannson or that gy archer in The Avengers. That was pathetic trying to fit them in there
I doubt TDKR will beat Avengers at the box office but I'd put money on it being a better movie critically

2 completely different movies tbh. DKR will be Oscar Nominated for original score maybe screenplay at the very least. Avengers was the but was just a really entertaining summer movie. DKR will probably break records too. Can't argue between them except for box office numbers

There is really no substance with the Avengers. Its just a stand alone movie with no regard for a good story or plot. Its just a summer flick to pass the time.
Nolan movies are always story driven and well scripted.
Avengers= a movie you will buy and watch for the fun of it
TDNR= movie with a serious plot that will keep you dugged in throughout.

In terms of box office, you may be right
The general audience is familiar with the Joker, whereas Bane is familiar mostly to Batfans
But yeah, TDKR is gonna be a fantastic movie
But have you seen or heard anything that makes you think that character will add to the movie.
I like what I have seen with the character so far. I think she brings a new dynamic to Nolan's Batman films.

The character brings an opportunity to explore another side of Batman. There can be more humor/lightheartedness from them working together, and their different styles can create some tension
Batman has a pretty good, albeit dry humor himself. We dont need no wack ass Anne to come up with dumb jokes.
She will add nothing to the movie.
Nobody claimed that she was needed.
You just said she could bring more humor and lightheartness.
I would be more open to the character if it wasn't played by such a horrible actress. I dont think she can deliver. We should see however.
