Bet?
You can't defend against great players when they're on...the Miami D is suffocating as well.
^the thought of spur fan thinking the spurs can beat miami makes me chuckle
Any D looks suffocating when your talking eastern conference teams. Special Olympics over there.
Look who they've played, the East is horrible.
If Indiana can take 2 games, OKC/SA with HCA won't take at least 2 or even win the series for that matter?
You must not have been paying attention. I've won more than I've lost.
That makes no sense. That also wasn't the bet.
Pacers and Knicks.
They're ed when they face a real offense. Thunder or Spurs would handle them in the finals.
DD is clowning on himself... he wouldn't make that bet...
Miami's compe ion has been easily superior to the Spurs compe ion, tbh..
Knicks > Jazz
Pacers > banged up Clippers
OKC's compe ion has been tough, but in reality, it took 2 clutch performances/chokes to beat Dallas, and 2 Kobe choke jobs to beat LA..if Kobe doesn't choke both games, LA is in the WCF right now..
No...it's a hunch.
I'll bet the Miami vs _____ ECF goes no more than 5, though. Would be open to betting a Heat-Spurs finals goes no more than 5 either....but 2 separate bets.
No ECF goes 5 at most, Sixers would get swept and old ass Celtics would squeak out a win. Way to go out on a ledge there.
Agree about ECF, finals no (but possible for sure).
Do you think the Spurs will beat the Heat?
I am concerned that G.Hill couldn't slow down wade better.
Fair enough...we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. I still feel the Heat breeze to a le, but I'm iffy about a possible Thunder matchup--enough to not want to bet on 5 or less.
Yup, Miami has no bench. Need a bench in a real series. Wade and James will combine for what 50 points a night? 60 if they are lucky? What scrubs are gonna get the additional 30+? Bosh if healthy would obliviously change things. Not saying the Heat don't have a shot but its comical to think they will play the same way they have been lately versus Spurs.
While MJ never had a 5 pts game, Wade has proven he can play at MJ level in the finals and playoffs. Have to say he's clearly better than Kobe and very difficult to guard. Add another all time great, like LeBron and its tough team to beat. The Heat plays great defense, on offense they move the ball and generate open 3's for role players, but LeBron and Wade can score no matter the situation. They caught fire in the right moment.
Would like to see the Heat vs a better team, like the C's (if they make it to the ECF's). No offense for the Pacers, they are quite good team.
Then bet me straight up...I'll take the Heat, you take the Spurs. $50 to $500 bet.
OKC is the only team that can compete with Miami athletically. Spurs play a great team game, but if Wade and Lebron are on ... Spurs dont have the athleticism to compete with their 1-2 punch.

Agree
That really wasn't the question though, was it?
Celtics will win at least two games and if the Spurs make it to the finals they will also win at least that much.
