I have a lot of admiration for their team. But they're not as offensively balanced. Westbrook to get his has to take a lot of shots. He's not going to be easy to defend but he's going to have a headache dealing with TP every game. Look at the last time they played TP blew by him and Westy couldn't defend the pick and roll a lick. I'm really not as scared of him at all. Durant is Durant. I still stick by my thoughts and say 5 games.

More than anything, what Durant's doing is buying into an "us against the world" mentality that drives so many athletes. When basketball players feel disrespected, they gain a compe ive advantage. Durant might be blowing this issue out of proportion, but it's also the sort of thing that athletes do all the time. What's interesting in this case is that, given the likely compe iveness of this series, the Thunder could become the favorite after one game. Durant might feel disrespected now, but he could also be the toast of the league in a week.

Game 1, more than ever, is key.
