I dont like making threads about outcomes that have not yet occured because most often then not you end up looking the fool.
With that said, I'm liking Spurs chances here.
Jinxing is just for supers ious people, which I am not. You work hard and get lucky a bit, you earn your keep. There's no two ways about it.

Just curse in the thread le like I did and get it deleted. Problem solved.
Should I go about it like " the San Antonio Spurs: 2012 Western Conference Champions"?
And if you rely too much on luck and not jinxing to be the champions, then you're a got team who don't deserve to win. Ever, at all.
Thunder are just too good.
Thunder in 5. We got lukcy on this one.
I bet you are a handsome lady.
Stand by my prediction Thunder in 6. Durant, Harden, and Westbrook all played like complete dog and it still took an epic 4th quarter collapse for the spurs to win. Spurs won't be hard for OKC to crack
They are so good that they lost tonight? That makes alot of sense![]()
I agree Spurs got this. Thanks venti game recognize game
Really? Spurs played mostly like crap this game and still pulled it out. We had 17 turnovers, and still found a way to win. You can credit Durants misses to the defense the Spurs played on him. We also shot 8-24 for 3's and 68% FTs
I'm smelling a sweep. I should probably not be posting about me thinking that the Spurs are going to win this series because I've been 96 to 99 percent wrong on pretty much most of my predictions for the playoffs this year. However, I feel confident about saying that the Spurs will win the Western Conference Finals this year. They're on fire and no one can stop them.
OKC's D was a big reason they turned em over, OKC is one of if not the most athletic team in the league.
Harden didn't get to the line once, a few bad calls that were charges. And him, plus Westbrook shot the ball horribly, even KD missed some chippies, yet it was still close.
As for your 3's, our defense closed on the 3-pt shooters pretty well. We'll see what happens in game 2....
The D was good, but the Spurs were just a little out of sync in the first half, which is when the bulk of the turnovers happened. It was nice work by the Thunder to capitalie, but I doubt that many TOs is just going to be a feature of the whole series.
I'm sure the Thunder will have better luck with the officiating at some point during the series, but when you're intentionally creating contact with smart defenders who can react quickly, charge calls are among the inherent risks.
I agree, on that same token, i doubt Westbrook/Harden play that bad again.
Both teams will make adjustments in Game 2, we'll see what happens.
As for the refs, yeah, hopefully they can get a few more calls. I know a few times they weren't even in the restricted area, charge.
SA is a smart team, but some of the calls were pretty weak on both ends.
I'm still smelling a sweep. None of my predictions have come true so maybe I'm finally due to be right.
We just did.![]()
This is just crazy how good this spurs team is durant, westbrook, and harden combine for 88 points and still lose by 9 could of been double digits easily. I have to say this spurs team is something special one of the best passing teams the NBA will ever have.
The NBA is pretty much going to ignore the Spurs until they beat the Heat in the Finals are one the stage holding up the Larry O'Brien Trophy. Stern must be pissed that the low tv ratings and low national interest magnet Spurs are heading to the Finals. At least his two sons Wade and Lebron will probably be there.
I can just picture it in my head. Some stupid celebrity will post on Twitter something about the Spurs during the Finals and will be along the lines of "wasn't Eva Longoria married to Tony Parker" and "is Eva Longoria at the game" and last but not least "was that Justin Bieber and Ashton Kutcher at the game".
yeah right... I don't even remember the last time spurs lost 4 games in a row.. not going to happen.
