spurs won but their games can still improve imho, they gave the ball away too easily and if they make 20+ turnovers in a game against the true greats (e.g. Miami Heat), they're made to pay for their mistakes
OKC just be young & naive and they let chance slide away. spurs played like in the late 3rd and early 4th quarters when their 1st unit were sitting tbh
Spurs played every team in the NBA and had the best record. They swept the Jazz, who had the same record as the Mavs, swept the Clippers, who were one game worse than the Lakers, and just beat OKC despite playing a terrible rusty first half because they curb stomped the Thunder in the 4th.
OKC could barely even make a field goal in the 4th until the irrelevant stat pad threes at the end that didn't effect anything. Meanwhile the Spurs lit them up for 75% shooting in that quarter for 39 points.
Exactly what did OKC expose? Spurs pretty much played their worst game in the last 2 months and OKC still couldn't win because the Spurs flipped the switch in the 4th to take the game.
why can't we say that the Mavs and Lakers were horrible teams and Thunder weren't tested either?
OKC lost game 1 but the series is far from over, OKC's home court would be awful and if they can steal one from san antonio they'll hold the momentum of the series.
Why do Spurs fans always bring up the ty New Orleans Spirit? Guess yall made that the Spirit didn't have $2 playoff tickets on stubhubb when they could make the playoffs...
