Why is Spurfan so obsessed with Kobe and/or the Lakers?

Lakers got knocked out a long time ago and yet gots like hater and others continue to post about Kobe and LAL. I guess after getting butt ed by them throughout the decade has left a permanent obsession with Spurfan. After the Mavs swept LA last year, I don't remember any of the mk obsessing over LA and Kobe once the next series began

In the Duncan era, the Spurs have 4 les and the Lakers have 5. They've sent us packing 4 different times, killing more Spurs playoff hopes than Richard Jefferson -- no mean feat, that.

We are to the Spurs what Boston is to us. The team up the ladder who has beat up on them.

Except we are going to surpass our nemesis in the short term and SA isn't passing us up in their lifetimes!

As for the Kobe obsession. I don't get it. People just have to hate and they let the media troll them on a daily basis. Insecure and weak minded individuals I guess would best explain it. It's laughable to be honest!

When they spam the forum with their "5>4" and "Hurr durr, Jim never repeated!" shtick, I'll countertroll with Kobe hate in direct proportion. Since the 3 biggest suckers of Mamba (+ history2b) are no longer around, I don't post about Kobe all that much anymore.

But the answer to your question is that Spurs fans are obsessed with Kobe because he's the only star player of this generation to have more les than Duncan, and is the only player (aside from Shaq) who can challenge Duncan's status as the best player of the post-Jordan era.

I think it was an honest and fair answer, from Mid. He could of said some of the dumb like: He is a rapist, a snitch, adulterer etc.

To me, I just think it's funny when they attempt to trill in the midst of the spur splaying their best ball of the Duncan era, even with Duncan not being his dominant self. I just hope the ingrate Spur fans suck Pop's wang the way they do Duncan's ...great coaching job.
