Neal turned to Leonard in the locker room and said:

Neal: "Two games down, two games to go."

    Leonard: "Six games to go."

Man, that's what I'm talking about. Think big. Nothing bigger than Game 3 right now.

Doesn't this conflict with the Spurs' "one-game-at-a-time" approach?

Negative. Kawhi's arms are currently playing games 3 and 4 in the future.

Andade is def on the bandwagon. His talk about going undefeated in the playoffs is crap at this point, tho.

Adandle on the bandwagon along with Stephen Smith and other Spurs past mockers is proof that the Mayans were right about calamitous events in 2012. Instead of global warming now perhaps Earth will shift to an ice age, China will become truly democratic, and extremists all over the world will have a "peace in".

even at some point even that idiot Israel Guitterez will recognize the sheer dominance of the Spurs and his past stupidity.

I think Adande's column is premature, but the points he was making had some validity to it. He kept talking about how the Spurs just have so many different looks, and so many ways to score that it's almost impossible to counter each one. And when OKC's Big 3 goes for almost 90 points, and they still lose while the Spurs get virtually nothing from Duncan on offense is very telling to what kind of team the Spurs are, and how perfect OKC has to be to win 4 out of the next 5 games.

If Parker, Duncan and Gino put it all together in Game 3, OKC is done. Not saying OKC isn't going to be tough. Make no mistake, OKC will go all out to win Game 3, doing EVERYTHING they can. But if the Spurs role players keep producing and our Big 3 all have a good game, then it's over.

I'd actually prefer we play all six of those games at one time. The playoffs are bad for my health.

Adande can never write a Spurs article without mentioning the Lakers. This idiot makes sure he places an asterisk by every accolade he reluctantly gives the Spurs.

Seriously, after 20 straight wins, 10 of which are in the playoffs, what does Andrew Bynum have to do with the Spurs at this point?

Adande is another typical Laker fan moron who can't comprehend how any other organization can possibly be this good without wearing purple and gold. However, after watching the Spurs dismantle the league by playing consummate team basketball, maybe now people will realize just how selfish a player Kobe Bryant is. No team with Bryant could ever dream of playing this way.

We better make sure that none of the champagne goes in his mouth in the celebration of winning it all. I would hate to see him get an MIP.

Wow Spurs fans are sensitive. The only thing I would add is the Spurs solved the Lakers by blowing them out twice.

Can you think of any other rookie contributing to a contender like he has?

    and

This is just the latest indictment on the isolation-based, star-studded, hero-ball that most NBA teams play. This is exactly the way that the Dallas Mavs prevailed against the Miami Heat last year. Now the Spurs are doing the same thing this year - only better and in potentially record-breaking fashion.

A rookie contributing to a contender isn't that uncommon. For example, in 2003, Spurs had a rookie from Argentina that help them to win it all.

What is less frequent is a 20 years old rookie contributing with a contender. A little stat to show it:

Playoffs minutes played by a 20 (or less) years old rookie:
    1. Magic Johnson (79-80): 658 minutes
    2. Boobie Gibson (06-07): 402 minutes
    3. Tony Parker (01-02): 341 minutes
    4. Derrick Rose (08-09): 313 minutes
    5. Kawhi Leonard (11-12): 255 minutes

Aside of Gibson, Kawhi is with some nice players in that list...
