And yet you know this place is about to go into full meltdown mode and not be bearable until Saturday's game.

As idiotic as it may seem yes....

Can the Spurs lose by 4 next time instead of what will probably be a 29 pt defeat?

Manny, don't be silly. Just bc you have been on a run doesn't excuse a cowardly performance. Losing is ok; not competing is not.

I don't like it but I am no where near meltdown mode. If we lose game 4 by 40 points then I might consider it.

I never said it was OK. But you're going to see a whole bunch of posts about how the Spurs are heartless and blah blah blah blah. Its just one bad game after 20 good ones.

I don't think we'll see much of a meltdown. Not like after that Lakers loss.

Most of us are too depressed to even stay on SpursTalk anymore.

Its mostly because of the way we lost that could bring some insecurities TBH.

For once I'm glad there's only one day between games 3 and 4. The quicker we get to Game 4 and take the W, the quicker this ty feeling of a loss is gone.

It wasn't a bad game; it was a horrific one in which they did not compete.

OKC has taken massive shots and kept fighting. Spurs folded. That's an issue. Whether they bounce back isn't the point; for tonight that's a major issue.

So if they bounce back and win the next two games are they are still heartless?

DPG you must have been dying for a loss so you could revert to old form.

I could tell by how Tony stared at the defense in the opening sequence that the Spurs were not there tonight.

Hopefully it gives RW the green light in his head to fire away. Winning is pointless if you don't look like the hero imo.

You're insecure about the Spurs after one loss?

That makes zero sense. Absolutely none. You obviously missed what I posted.

LOL yeah because you're one of the more optimistic Spurs fans, CBF. You agreeing with DPG on this is like TPark defending Pop playing Bonner.

No. They kept draining 3's to cut the lead to 3.

The Spurs are a young and inexperienced team who will let the margin of victory in this game affect them for the rest of the series.

They had defeat on their faces. That's a maturity thing.

Tonight the Spurs seemed to realize early they were out of sorts. I don't know what happened exactly, but it is what it is. On to the next game. Gotta give credit to the Thunder though, they were a juggernaut tonight.

    lol
I just don't like the trends

    Less effective bench play
Turning it over more and more
    Not rebOunding
Putting guys on the ft line more

either we didn't compete or spurs are getting tired

Oh so it wasn't folding when they gave up a 9 point lead going into the fourth. Ok.

How do you think the margin of victory in this game will affect the Spurs going forward?

Oh you mean the trend where the Spurs have won 31-34?

Of course this series looks worse, CBF. The Thunder are far better than the the previous two opponents.
