Here's an idea to commemorate the streak.

Take an assault rifle, load the magazine with 20 rounds, one for every win, insert the magazine into the weapon, load a round, and empty the magazine into the body of Matt Bonner.
He doesn't need to score to spread the floor!

I almost forgot what it feels like to watch the spurs loose. It was pretty amazing. But it means nothing until we win the CHAMPIONSHIP!!

Who gives a about a 20 win streak. Who gives a about having the regular season MVP trophy, or even the best record.

If you aren't carrying that trophy at the end of the Finals, nothing else matters.

I'm not going back to watch, but I wonder how many pick and rolls the Spurs actually tried in that game. I didn't see one, but I spent a lot of time being disgusted and walking into the other room.

very bad and upsetting lose, even if you lose there's a way, now you just gave the thunder a big momentum and the thunder are a momentum team, now because of it they could go on and win the next 3 games in the series!

It was an incredible ride while it lasted indeed, and I was absolutely hypnotized by it all.

... But alas, we must remain focused on the THE GOAL of all goals.

The slate is now wiped clean again.

This is a really stupid philosophy. Whether or not the Spurs win the le, this has been a pretty amazing season.

I am almost always satisfied with the season. Even last year I was satisfied as we blazed through the regular season and ran into a dremel tool in the playoffs.

These ers have yet to see seasons like the early and mid nineties or worse - the pre Drob 80s. They think its all 50 win seasons and championships.

I thought they were going to lose last series. There's a relief in getting the win-streak monkey off your back. Spurs needed a little pressure. They have it.

I can't believe some of these spoiled Spurs fans. I can't imagine these guys will be here in 3 years when they're a 32 win team in a full rebuild and I doubt they were fans when the Spurs were a 32 win team in the mid 80s either. The only team in the league for whom anything less than a le is complete failure is the Heat with that stacked roster they have.

I for one am glad it's over. It was getting very annoying having all of the national media on the Spurs bandwagon.

I guess I'll settle for a championship but I really wanted the Spurs to go 16-0

At first ^ that was a joke but I now that I think about it I bet there really are NASFs out there thinking that.

statistical, this lose is alarming, in the history of the NBA, of all the champions there is no one team that lost a playoff game by 20 or more points(in exception of the finals) and won the le at the same year.

A drawing board should be revisited, tbh. The Spurs lost two games by 20 or more points in 2007 before the Finals. And that's just off the top of my head ... I'm sure there were dozens of other cases.
