It really really was. I feel from my heart of hearts that we learned a lot tonight. We will come back re-energized and refocused (not hyphenated) and with a sense of urgency.
God works in mysterious ways.
Trying to pretend the last one wasn't sarcastic.
Well played.
Last what?
100% agree. I'd rather lose now and fix some things before it's to late.
Imagine riding a 12 game playoff win streak, 3 series sweeps into the finals and then blowing game 1 at home, not cool.
This gives the players, and the coach of the year, to adjust and show their mettle. You learn more from a loss then you do a 20 win streak. The 2012 playoffs have officially begun for us.
If God has anything to do with this series, he's even more mysterious (and lame) than I could have imagined.
Even God doesn't follow the Spurs.
I know I just wanted to be greedy and wanted 16-0. Well, almost...now it's time to focus on winning the NBA Championship!
I could have swarn I read this post from somewhere...
I rather lose in a blowout than a close one like the Celtics in game 2.That hurts. We possibly can't be blown out again.NO WAY.We won 20 in a row.
Before the Spurs lost Game 3 the last time they lost was also a blowout. Another defensive ace played out of his mind on the offensive end there too.
after last night, I'm even surer that we will go all the way!
we will be fine!
There's no way we could have gone undefeated through the playoffs.. thats an unreal expectation for this team. The Spurs will use this loss as motivation to be sharp for the rest of the series. Popovich will bounce back and make some adjustments, and the players will be more focused... no need to panic, this Spurs team is honestly way too good for the Thunder.
God is a football fan this wasn't his doing.
We haven't tasted our own blood yet, sure we've been punched in the mouth a few time but no blood was drawn. Last night it was and the Spurs will be back in form tomorrow.
at least the spurs showed class
That was not a blessing in disguise...no loss is a blessing.
This is a blessing in disguise:
