Count me as one who isn't worried about Green. I think he'll be fine. At least he's still shooting the ball when opportunities arises. He's not passing it around like a scared little red-headed girl - like someone else I know.
He's disappeared this series. This happens a lot to young players in big games or big series. Sometimes the stage is too big for them or once they miss a couple of open shots they lose all their confidence and then it's all downhill from there. Hopefully he picks it back up though cause he gets a ton of good looks at the basket, just hasn't been able to knock em down. We need him to play well though if we're going to take this thing.

hopefully the end of the winning streak relieves some pressure on the young guys. no more streak to sweat over chaps, just get back to work innit
danny green if ur not makin ur shots, attack the rim to get to the line to get going....
not gonna happen man. he can barely dribble the ball.![]()
not worried tbh he's a streaky shooter...at least he's still letting fly
Guy's a shooter, not a scorer. Think a much smarter Nick Young with actual D.
i would like to see Kawhi also cut to the rim and jam that instead of that weak ass floater he tried last night....
nick young is dumb, but he has dribble moves that enable him to create his own shot.
as for green, whatever he did to make himself into a 3 point threat, keep doing that thing.
TNT set:Shaq Ernie Kenny Chuck
Chuck:Looking around and under the TNT set.
Ernie:What are you looking for Chuck?
Chuck:Oh where's Danny Green? He's been missing.
Kenny and ShaqLaughed)
Danny Green is streaky as . He goes through bumps and bruises along the way and could bounce back for a 25 point game at any given time.
I'm not overly worried. Thats kind of what you get with Green - inconsistency.
green has never scored 25 in a game.
he did score 24 in a game once. 5 months ago.![]()
I was impressed with Danny Green's hustle, but man is he ever sucking on offense.
Popovich needs to make sure Green isnt sitting next to Bonner when he goes to the bench 'cuz it seems like Bonner's ty shooting is starting to rub-off on him too.....![]()

Green is fine. But I'd like to cut some mistakes on defense. He's shots will go in sooner or later
Danny has done this all year. He'll come back with a vengeance at some point. I'm much more concerned with Pop. He's abandoned winning formulas before, and last night looked like the start of it to me. If the game one and two rotation are back in game four all should be okay.
I'm worried at the turnovers, you can't win with 20+ ing turnovers PERIOD. Pop will be smarter and will outcoach Brooks the next game and Danny will make his 3's sooner or later.
The Spurs had done 20 things by that point that they'd never done in the last two months. Their offense and rotation were completely broken down.
He is a streak shooter. Better for him to suck now and get his groove back for the Finals if we advance
I agree with obstructed view. Pop is the One im freaked out about.
Pray to God he doesn't go into over think mode.....
The hallmark of all our great runs during the Tim&Pop era was being the least turnover/foul-prone team; the Spurs always have a chance to win if they take care of the ball and keep the bad guys off the line.
Seemed like the Spurs couldn't even make the first pass last night until Thunder emptied their bench.
The JA fan boys club would like you to fill out an app. Your expertise in reading body language will look good in the "special skills" section *wink*
I am talking about for this series only:
- He's been over-reliant on his 3-point shooting.
- When he hasn't hit his 3s, he's been useless on offense.
- His defense could have been and should have been much better.
Of course, I'm talking about Danny Green, who, if he has another poor game in this series, will suddenly be very reminiscent of a certain Spurs starter we were all VERY HAPPY to get rid of:

Wow, hate to say I told you so. His absence is huge and is affecting other facets of the game.
How do you feel about Danny Green now?
