Here's another guy that could show up to camp on Sunday. 2014 DE Gerald Willis III will be highly ranked next year and he also attends Edna Karr HS in New Orleans along with CB Noel Ellis and 2014 WR "Speedy" Noil. Willis III has an invite to the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge this summer.

If you go to front page of rivals, it has RSJ on the front page giving the hook 'em sign -- http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/

Ricky Seals-Jones appears to be the next player destined for five-star status. He and nine others seem poised to reach elite status. [details]

Updated list for J3. The Manvel duo of WR Kyrion Parker and CB Tavares Garner will be attending J10 and not J3. That was an oversight on my part. RB Kyle Hicks will not be participating and may not make it to Austin because of his foot surgery. OL Darius James will also be sidelined but should be in attendance. The remainder of the 2013 commitments are expected to be there. DE Torrodney Prevot will be camping at LSU.

RB Kyle Hicks, Arlington Martin (may not make it to due to foot surgery)
    WR Jake Oliver, Dallas Jesuit
    WR Jacorey Warrick, Cypress Falls
    TE Bryson Burtnett, Springtown
    TE Durham Smythe, Belton
    TE Robby Wells, Katy Taylor
OL Caleb Benenoch, Katy Seven Lakes
OL Darius James, Killeen Harker Heights (will be sideline due to foot injury)
    OL Sergio Phillips, DeSoto
OL/DL A’Shawn Robinson, Forth Worth Arlington Heights
    OL/DL Jake Raulerson, Celina
    DE Daeshon Hall, Lancaster
LB Deoundrei Davis, Cypress Woods (been struggling with an ankle sprain)
LB Naashon Hughes, Killeen Harker Heights

Quotes from the coach and father of CB Noel Ellis:

"He's the ultimate compe or. He competes on every play, on the field, in the film room as well," coach Juluke said. "He wants to be the best at his craft and he's going to give everything he has.

"Bo Davis came by during spring football. He watched him, saw his film and they needed cornerbacks. He checked him out and fell in love with him," Juluke said. "Coach Davis wants the DB coach to see him in person and evaluate him more. He liked what he saw but he wants the DB coach do his own evaluations."

"I don't know for sure but think they want to offer him. They wanted to go back in their staff meetings, get everything situated. But he's definitely a BCS ball player."

"They reached out to us and obviously, we were happy to hear from them. We're looking forward to going down there on the third and competing, showing what he can do," Mr. Ellis said. "He's really excited and amped about the opportunity to show the coaches that he's not only the best cornerback in Louisiana, but one of the best in the South.

"Texas is a top-notch program on the big stage. We feel like a place like that is where we he wants to be when his decision is made. He wants to be in a position to play on the big state and Texas definitely fits the bill. It's an awesome university and the football program speaks for itself. If an offer was to be extended from Texas, that would definitely put them in our top three schools (along with Texas A&M and Tennessee)."

Word on the street is Greenlea is next to catch the attrition bug. No surprise if so based on early reports.

It's a mixed bag with Kelley, it frees up a scholly for new guys that could turn into major contributors. However, there is not a lot of depth at OT and he was a capable player to add depth.

When Greenlea first got on campus the word was he had at ude issues and wasn't working hard at all and wasn't focused. Not sure if somehow tied to injury somehow but the things I've heard seem to involve the mental aspect and not the physical.

The guys over at IT said right after he got on campus they didn't think he would last and that was just a few weeks after he joined the program. If a guy isn't determined his physical ability and recruiting ranking means nothing.
