Good on him. We need someone to call the pussies on this team out. Let's hope we rain a storm on the Thunder in games 5 and 6. We're playing soft.
Jax was pissed
He said that we havent played hard, that Pop should scream at us, that a lot of teams would kill to be in the WCF
Does anyone have a video of this?

He's the only one the past two games that played with aggression. I wish he went around practice and gave a good slap in the mouth to every single player and an added backhand to both Bonner and Pop.
I posted his quotes on the last page of the Game Blog.
Thanks
http://blog.mysanantonio.com/spursna...g-at-halftime/“I don’t think Gregg Popovich should have to come in this locker room and scream and kick to get guys to go in and play hard,” Jackson said after the Thunder evened the best-of-7 series at two games apiece. “This is the Western Conference finals. I know a million people who want to be in our shoes. For him to have to come in here and scream at guys to play hard .?.?. I am shocked. Everybody should be ready to play. .?.?. We’ve got to show more emotion and more passion to want to win this thing.”
he has been on the other end of the spectrum...sucking it up on weak teams.
now is the time to make this a tool on our way!
Stephen Jackson - Postgame

That's what I call keeping it real! When Durrant was hitting all those shots in the 4th, all I could tell my wife is "You can't play betta defense then that". They was all in his clothes with him. Hats off to Durrant!
I'm sure he was directing those comments to guys like Splitter, Green, Bonner, Diaw, and to some degree Manu. Manu had that one good first game but has the bed ever since.
+1 Man i love Captain Jack
Spurs are a bunch of pussies. They need to adopt Jackson mentality
I wonder what RJ would've said in his postgame presser after a game like that.
I'm sure RJ would have gone home crying having a teammate talk about him like that
Time for another one of Pop's speechess? The tried and true 'soft' speech or the newer 'nasty' speech? Something needs to be done. Where's the fire and passion and desperation and killer instinct. We are lacking it all
Somehow I couldn't help but think he was talking about Bonner? And I wonder if Bonner was listening?
I really don't think he is talking about Bonner. Truth is-- Bonner tries. He just isn't good enough. When everyone steps their game up another level in the play-offs, he simply does not have one. When defenders play harder and games start going "faster," he just can't keep up. He could run as fast as possible, and not be close to keeping up with Ibaka running the court.
I think Parker looked like he was not playing hard last night.
Obviously it's not easy to determine which guys are trying harder than others. But it seems like Tony, Manu, Neal (notice the defensive change in the 4th lol), Diaw, and Splitter have all at times been lackadaisical out there. Tim too but I blame that on him being geriatric.
Jack needs to hipcheck Bonner into the scorer's table.![]()
I agree. Bonner plays hard. Hes talking to players that have the skills and are being pussies. Green, Splitter, etc
I can see the Spurs coming home and winning Game 5 and eventually the series in Game 7. But I am also concerned that it may be more about OKC than the Spurs. At this point, every OKC player, even on their supposedly thin bench, has shone. If one honestly assesses things, they easily could be up 3-1, perhaps even swept this series. The only prayer the Spurs have is if they bring ultra-physical play and play like its their last game ever.
If Gregg Popovich continues to proudly insist on giving minutes to Matt Bonner and Tony Parker doesn't have a Game 2 like showing on Monday, HCA won't even matter. I guess we hope Dejuan Blair gets minutes and that he's so fired up and sick of Pop that he has a mad game to prove a point.
I won't paint a rosy picture. I still think the Spurs will win in seven, but unless this team gets Jacksonlike quickly, they'll get run over.
I saw this last night
Was about to change the channel but his comments were just to bad as to change it
"if you're scared, go to church, tomorrows Sunday"
Love his at ude. It's about time someone stepped up and called the team out.
Jax and Leonard are the only two guys who have brought it consistently this series.
Guys like Splitter, Green, Neal, and whatever other role player you want to name have to step up but this team goes no where if the big 3 are playing at 50-60% at best.
