So you're in to Moor s, huh.
...that should be made into a movie?
As we know...
Tarzan
To Kill a Mockingbird
Conan
Gone With The Wind
John Carter on Mars
Dracula
East of Eden
A Boy and His Dog
The Grapes of Wrath
Frankenstein
The Call of the Wild
Treasure Island
....and on and on and on. All books that were made into a movie.
What book is still waiting for that honor to be bestowed upon it? A book that would make a great movie?
From the comic/mythology world...
Spiderman
Thor
Hercules
The Hulk
X Men
Batman
The Avengers
The Fantastic Four
Samson and Deliah
King Kull
The Daredevil
All getting a movie.
Getting back to books, we need the Elric stories brought to the silver screen. Michael Moor s albino prince of Melniborne with his vampiric blade Stormbringer would be perfect. Some obscure heavy metal stuff as the sound track.
There is no better read in the fantasy world. Sorry Tolkien.
H.P.Lovecraft...hmmm?

I think any will do with him tbh
Hmmm...interesting...let's think some...what about a movie based on superheros having to win a 4x400 race against evil to save the world...
Can you imagine the conflict as they try to decide who will run this race???
Some music to think by...
I always felt King Diamond's Them would be a good movie.
also, Metroid.
I've said it before but I'd like to see Grapes of Wrath remade. While the Henry Fonda film is very good, I don't think the time it was made allowed for the filmmakers to really capture the desperation described in the book.
Most of the books I'd like to see as films would be impossible to adapt without completely ruining them. Invisible Monsters, for instance. Or the Preacher series. Would be great if someone could do them justice, but I'd rather they stay awesome books than become ty movies/series.
Movie adaptation from books are ty if you read the books first. Even after. That's all there is to it. I wonder if I'll still like the Lord of the Rings trilogy movie if I read the book though.
The Hobbit was a much better book than the rings trilogy, imo. its basically the rings trilogy but more refined and alot less bersome.
the Silmarillion was god awful.

I agree for the most part but it's not always true. Girl With the Dragon Tattoo did a great job of turning the book into a movie. I didn't come away thinking that the book was better.
I don't read novels or comic books, so I can judge a movie solely on it's appeal to me without making comparisons. The exception is the Harry Potter series, which I read after each movie just because I wanted more detail; if I had read before the movies, I would have been disappointed I'm sure.
But I read tons of biographies and I think so many of them would make absolutely beautiful films. I just finished Juliette Gordon Low: The Remarkable Founder of the Girl Scouts by Stacy Cordery and although I'm not particularly interested in Girl Scouts, she was an amazing, colorful woman at a time when those were not considered positive attributes. Of course we are at a time now that the most positive attributes for a movie are explosions, so just forget it![]()
You honestly never break character.
Dude, grow up..ok?
Yes yes and yes, a remake is needed.
RaZon was fun. Let's put him away...ok?
Always thought Z for Zachariah would make an awesome movie.
you first
everyone poops
OK, Dad
this guy...........
I alternate between fiction and non fiction. Right now I'm into books on Islam, what a strange strange world that is.
