Just saw this on Twitter. For some reason I wanted them to use black shirts, thought it'd look pretty cool. But just glad they're doing it now. I'm assuming this is the first time they're doing this this post season but if I somehow missed it my bad lol... Hard to miss though.

It's been a while since the Spurs did this, but it's certainly been done before for playoff games.

went to a home game in 08 and they did it
i think its kind of stupid but i guess they want the fans to be in it as much as possible because of the impact of this game
the shirts they give are horrible quality and usually XXXL because of the whales
people who work for the arena also come around telling you to put the shirt on

who gives a if the crowd get free XXL shirts!? with that said...Spurs have done this before (Game 1 and 2) against Mavs 2 seasons ago. One of which was a black out and hardly anyone participated in the lower level.

Normally the shirts are X-large from the black, and white ones they have handed out in the past.
They have done it before and I was at the game and the majority of fans didn't even bother to put them on. All the most diehard Spurs fans STILL prefer to watch the games at bars away from the arena.
can someone post a picture of the Spurs all black shirts in the arena? i would love to see that, and i've always wished they would give black shirts out instead of white...

I like it. Show a little solidarity. A black out would be awesome, but whatever. As long as the 19k in the arena tonight bring the noise.
Hey now, I'm not spoiled. Besides, I have to wear my lucky outfit. We're undefeated in games this year when I wear my Duncan jersey. (It's white, so I'll blend.)

I know they had a black out last year during the hornets game when we lost the 2nd game of the season.
