Please, Spurs did this in the '07 playoffs as well. Some of y'all will about anything![]()
Hate that we're doing this, if true. This is what teams who've never "been there before" do. This makes it look like we're scared of the opponent and have to resort to finding every little gimmick to try to help the team out. Thumbs down.

And it was silly then, too.
Should have given out white towels to wave instead, like in the NHL playoffs. That looks cool
More like too small. Xl shirts on beer bellies don't mix
Geez, make up your mind people! First, some of you were ing..."Why dont the Spurs give out free shirts?" And now that they are doing it, it's stupid? Please...it's pretty damn cool if you ask me. For one, you get a free shirt, and you get to say you were at the actual game where shirts were given out instead of noise makers. Would you rather have a shirt, or a noise maker? And for the people who want a black out, yeah it would be cool and look awesome...but 1 problem...the Spurs wear white jerseys at home, not black! It's like when OKC gave out blue shirts at home and then Dallas wore their blue jerseys on the road, so the move backfired on OKC!Secondly, the white out should bring fans together and unite them to rally behind the team. It also looks pretty cool on TV...

spurs fans that have been here the longest, know that shirts a bush league and unnecessary. None of the great franchises did them in their le runs.
Calm down. If you've been to a playoff game this year you'll have seen that the games are lacking a true playoff atmosphere. Hopefully this helps provide that.
It's just a shirt!Would you rather have noise makers/clappers than a free shirt? I'm pretty sure you'd take the shirt....
The shirts are cool if you wear them playing bball or at the lake. They are dorky if you wear them at the game with the other sheep. It's like baseball caps snow skiing...you don't wear a Crested Butte hat at Crested Butte...you wear one from Aspen or Steamboat or somewhere else.
Probably felt like they should give the fans something since this could easily be the last Spurs home game this year. Pretty nice gesture by the organization...
I'd rather it not look like the team belongs in AAA
Spurs do it at least one time in the playoffs almost every year that I can remember in recent years and I've been a season ticket holder for 13 years.
This is the first time they are doing it this year, but with good reason since this may be the last game at the AT & T Center. I hope not though!![]()

HEB usually sponsors it, tbh.
White shirts area a little more distracting. Hopefully the Spurs come out READY to play for the fans.
May as well stand until the first basket as well while we're copying OKC.
What? Game 2 was loud and awesome as was game 1. The crowd is not OKC or Utah but those are the few exceptions to NBA crowds. The crowd was pretty damn good and we feel the big difference in the atmosphere.
We were standing and screaming the whole time. And, we're in row 17 of the lower level and yes everyone around us was screaming their ass off as well. I'm almost fainting from screaming nonstop.
There are some older people and lardos that r either too old to get up or too fat to move so they sit on their asses, but those are the exceptions at least around us. I too get pissed when I see them just sitting there stuffing their faces with more dogs and nachos instead of getting their fat ass up. The team needs us.
Don't care that the Spurs are doing this but don't expect it to turn out great. Most of the Charter won't even put on the damn shirt. That's why it's stupid.
No worries. I do believe we will win tonight, Legacy! BELIEVE!!

we did it in the finals in 07 and i hardly felt like it was a way of showing how scared we were of the cavs.
like someone said earlier, this brings fan unity. no matter who we are, where we come from, we are all spurs fans and for a night we will all wear the same color together (hopefully) and cheer our team on
but it only works when everyone does it. otherwise its going to look re ed
So are they white wife beaters?
