He showed a lot of heart in the 4th.. Love Tim Always...
".........I'm ready to get out there and lace it up again and go."
I don't know about you, but that kinda made me moist.
BELIEVE!!!
He showed a lot of heart in the 4th.. Love Tim Always...
Too bad he wasn't ready to play during the 1st half..
Timmy played with effort tonight, the same can't be said for most of the players on the Spurs.
Ill be holding him to it. Tim Duncan was awful for most of the game today, but he gave more effort than most.
I believe. Rise up Spurs fans.
***Edit: Totally got my post beat.![]()
This. Words and quotes dont win games Timmay
Game six. Backs against the wall. TP needs to wake up. GSG
Too bad Pop doesn't know his players can play 40+ minutes.
Pop.
talk is cheap tbh...he should've played balls out from the get go not now when practically everyone on your team has checked out
Duncan showed up in the 4th. Unfortunately he's been missing the last 5 halves.
timmy please, if they played again right now those young legs would run your old ass ragged, and the spurs would probably lose by 20+.... may lose by that much in game 6 anyway
I just realized they cant play 40+ versus hustling OKC team.
tim duncan lacing up just to make the numbers on the court......
we dont need another player on the court, we need pts and production from you to have any chance of winning ball games
The thing I'll remember about this series is Tim hugging his daughter before the game.
She says (if you lip read) "I love you dad."
She sensed how concerned her dad was about whether he could succeed.
And she let him know how she felt.
I'll remember that forever.
Lip service tbh...not much else he could say.
why wasnt he ready in the 1st half? maybe we wouldve won!
you must be a chic
those 20 wins finally caught up to him
By "ready to play" he means "force shots in double coverage and complain to refs".
Ah Timmy, you're one of the good ones. I'm gonna miss ya if'n ya retire after this season (which I think you might)
What the point of saying this when the game has ended?
I applaud the Spurs for doing an amazing job retooling this team as Duncan has aged and declined. What was once a defensive grind it out team is now a high scoring team. But at the end of the day i think it is showing to be almost impossible to win a championship when your immortal player is no longer immortal.. Magic could not do it, neither could Bird, had Jordan kept going he would have failed also. But the Spurs should be commended for getting this far..
all series he played like shti going to the same pathetic move over and over again when teh defense has figured him out...
3 games back ... tbh
