Especially if this team goes down game 6,Wednesday night
2004 2006 2012-All years I felt we were good enough to win it all.

The biggest blunder was 2003 off season, after we won the championship with prime Duncan and a young nucleus. We have a boatload of cap space and we wasted it on Rasho Nestero and Ron Mercer. We lose young Stephen Jackson and we couldn't get that big man.Jermaine Oneal,Lamar Odon,Elton Brand were free agents, some restricted, but couldn't land a big fish, probally because we play in San Antonio. We could offer a max contract and then some, but wasn't meant to be.

We could of won 6-7,but likely to settle for 4.

Magic won 5 with insane talent around him..

Bird won 3 with amazing talent as well..

Tim won 4 with a changing cast aside from Manu and Tony most of his career..

I'd say we did just fine..

Manu's foul on Dirk in Game 7 2006 cost the Spurs a 3-peat. That would have solidified the Spurs as a dynasty instead of arguably just a quasi-dynasty. And we could have matched Jordan's Bulls and Shaq's Lakers with a 3-peat of our own. So it goes ...

2006 is still a .A 3-peat and 4 in 5 years would of had a nice ring to it.We are more like 80s bird Celtics. We are hanging on to our core as long as they did.

Four is enough for me as well

Barkley and Malone = zero les!!!

Chamberlain, arguably the greatest individual player (yes Jordan, Wilt was better than you, just play him one on one, hahahahahaha) had only TWO!!!

and this makes me smile, its over and it has been sweet

How many years do we have to wait for another great franchise player? Duncan was special. I'm thinking 20 years.

We should have had at least one more with Duncan. This loss tonight is a killer.

4 trophies better than none! Don't complain about the les the Spurs didn't get-be happy that they were able to get 4. Only a few NBA teams have accomplished that feat.......spurs championship window may have closed but let's not diminish the success they've had and will continue to have.......

You have to be grateful for what you had.. Ewing was never on the level of Duncan but he played on some great Knick teams and because of Jordan's Bulls and other factors they never got over the hump...

4 trophies better than none! Stop complaining about what the Spurs didn't get and be happy that were able to win many times. Only a few teams in NBA have won multiple championships much less 1.

Parker's childish personality never fitted into this franchise. He would have had much more fun playing guitar hero or talking about playboy magazines with, say, Lebron James, leaving Tim and Manu build the most succesfull team in NBA's history. Too bad the franchise kept him and his potential remained indeed unexploited due to his perennial immaturity.

So in other words I'm fine with 4 les & I'm okay with the Spurs just getting humiliated in the PO's year after year, yeah I'm fine with that.

The Spurs lack of front office moves till it was too late was just so damn mind boggling.

Before the series started, I think everyone would have been pretty dissapointed with down 3:2 going to our execution in OKC.

Pop benching the centers in 2006 cost the Spurs a 3-peat. That would have solidified the Spurs as a dynasty instead of arguably just a quasi-dynasty. And we could have matched Jordan's Bulls and Shaq's Lakers with a 3-peat of our own. So it goes ...
