I cried in 2004 but I was only 13 years old at the time, so it was understandable, and that was the most heartbreaking shot in Spurs history.

Last night I felt more like Turtle Terry in that one gif where they zoom in on his face

I cried in '84. Nothing since then, win or loss has affected me as that did.

worst series ever ..... I didn't cry but I was more pissed that they gave Boston Games 2 and 4; I did cry in the 83 series loss against the Sixers though .....

my pops cried in 77 at the hands of the Blazers

Extreme sadness is not the emotion I face when the Spurs lose a big one, extreme frustration is.

Closest I got was the 06 finals, game 5 in OT where wade won it at the line. Never shed a year tho before but I've been emo/depressed about a loss.

Rangers last year was a heartbreak too

Yeah same with me. The only time the Suns lost where I felt sadness was the appropriate emotion was 2006 because they truly overachieved and were outmatched. Even then you couldn't really be sad about a team with Tim Thomas in its starting lineup and a huge injury making the WCF.

Every other time the Suns lost I've just been pissed because they've lost largely due to stupidity/a lack of interest in winning or playing defense/a weakness they decided to ignore rather than address while they had the chance. 2007 epitomized that. I've never seen a team go out in such a made, whiny, finger-pointing fashion the way the 2007 Suns did.

I think the last time I was sad about a loss was when the Sox lost in 2003. I felt so bad for Wakefield, having played well in the series and giving up that gopherball. Of course, 2004 made up for it. Still sad that they couldn't have kept Wakefield around to get the all-time win record for us.

Did they really overachieve considering they beat one mediocre and one good but not great LA teams? That was before they fixed the seeding issues. Suns had a pretty clear path to the conference finals that year.

Losing itself isn't too frustrating, because there's almost always a rational explanation and you almost always lose to the better team.

What's frustrating is the mindset in this city that winning now isn't possible. It's always about building toward "the future." Except "the future" never seems to arrive. It's almost like teams in this town don't even try to win.

There's almost a contentment with losing. That's what frustrating.

Not an NBA game/series, i cried when i heard Kendall Marshall broke his wrist, then i knew the season was over.

UNC was the only team who could of beat of UK, and if he was healthy, no question we give them all they can handle, might of even won. injuries/sports.

This. I've never cried as hard in my life as when my dad died. It was like this guttural noise that I could not control.
