Also Go Spurs Go

I felt OKC was favored, Durant was getting every little ticky tack call and the OKC guys guarding Parker/Duncan were allowed to be much more aggressive. I have no problem with ticky tack fouls or letting guys play, as long as both teams receive the same treatment and I didnt think that was the case in that final quarter.
But I was obviously watching the game through silver and black glasses, so for the unbiased observers out there...what is your honest opinion of the officiating down the stretch ?
You won't get unbiased opinions here, tbh..Spurs fans will get roasted, and rightfully so, most of them deserve it for their overconfidence and horrible takes..
Check RealGm and Twitter for opinions, though..most media people and NBA players Tweeted about the bias of the refs..
durant is stern's new love boy now imho, and he's obviously lost favor in bron![]()
Bad officiating, bad play by Spurs. They didn't play well enough to win in the second half.
Turning point was in the 3rd Quarter on the no-call on Kawhi Leonards shot, which ended up being a turnover.
This game was too close to have it play out with the refs. I really think I'm done with the NBA, I'm finding soccer more exciting.
Honest question: Who do you think was the better team tonight?
OKC is the better team
now I'm maybe biased but the officiating in the fourth was just ridiculous
Before even going into the ticky tack stuff that Durant got when they were already in the penalty. There were two really bad flops by Harden including that one, there was also the Manu and1 which looked like Durant was still moving. Huge momentum shifting plays imo.![]()
OKC will always be favored, but refs cant hand them 18 points![]()
I think the Spurs played good enough to win despite their collapse in the second half. Thats my honest (possibly biased) opinion.
They gave up the lead on their own. It was a back and forth dogfight after that though.
a sport with more flopping than the nba is more exciting for you?
the officiating was turrible in the 4th but Parker's balls shriveling back up and the fact that the Spurs went into got mode didn't help.
blowing a damn near 20 point lead > refs
Spurs too tired in 2nd half. Thunder has some young thoroughbreds. Now y'all know how Laker fans feel.![]()
Spurs went into TOSB mode after playing too many minutes, tbh. Nothing left in the tank.
You're going to find that in most sports, but you won't find it as much as a problem in soccer.
NBA has countless stories of bad officiating, more than I can count. What does soccer have? The hand of god? I can barely fill up my fingers trying to count that
Spurs were only down 4 with 2-3 mins left, they scored but the 3s were falling for OKC. In the final minute Spurs were choking and it wasn't refs
Only argument for Spurs you can make is that Spurs might have nursed their 18 point lead for an entire quarter if OKC wasn't helped.
Spurs were up at the end of the 3rd. In the fourth I saw Durant go to the line when they were in the penalty on ticky tack while Duncan was being played physical/Parker was hitting the floor on the other end with no calls. There were two huge and obvious flops by Harden. The charge on Ginobili and1 that couldve cut it to 1 where Durant was still moving. All in the fourth quarter off the top of my head.
I saw nothing unusual. Durant gets to the line as much as anyone in the league other than Howard. The Finals will be a FT shooting contest.
