my team couldn't make it past the second round of the playoffs twice in a row as a direct result of the poor play of both an "all-time great" superstar and a top-tier big man, and if the situation of our teams were reversed I would be making fun of the spurs' apparent great failure to reach the conference finals, rather than my own team's failures
    Uh OK.

Kobe's been on the best team 5 times and recognized as the best player on the best team twice. Duncan's been on the best team 4 times and recognized as the best player on the best team 3 times.

    Yep.

Here's what Timmy did at a year younger in a closeout game:

    Spin it!
In fairness, though, closeout games are easy.

tim kept attackin at the low post with like 6min left on board and he scored 6pts in a row which helped keep his team afloat, but the team's D was poor as and tim's efforts were all left in vain

probably his last game in NBA imho, his team lost the game but tim is definitely NOT a loser

Timmy had a good season and played a good game last night. Kudos to him.

Bottom line it is a team sport and in the Timmy/Kobe era IE that last 15 years its Lakers 5 and Spurs 4.

No number of individual trinkets are going to change that.

To have to use Drews pathetic last game performance to compliment Tim’s is about as pathetic and weak as it gets. To be so obsessed and hurt over the Lakers success just shows the weakness and pettiness in the individual poster. To do such is nothing but a huge disservice to Tim and his own greatness. That the Midget cannot see this is a testament to his own ignorance and nothing less than beautiful and laughable in the eyes of Laker fans! Well done moron!

You should be proud of your team. An era is coming to an end and you have held the position of little brother well and distinguished yourselves as a quality organization and one that has made their mark in the shadow of Laker greatness. That is not an simple or easy accomplishment. Well done again as a whole!

Thank you so much Midget for the classic of all classic threads! Made my year!
