Hmm yes, to have an opinion usually you need to base it in something.

I don't really NEED to base my opinion on anything tbh, but I did that anyway.

So you just think in something just because?

Besides, saying you would expect a full Brazil squad to beat Uruguay isn't an argument. Why do you think they would beat them?

Uruguay has performed better in the last WC and Copa America. Going by these results you can conclude that Uruguay works better as a team and going player by player Uruguay has arguably the better ones.

Brazil doesn't have any player of the level of Suarez, Cavani and Forlan on attack right now (Neymar has to prove himself in Europe first). Muslera is one of the best goalkeepers in the World, same for Godin in the center back position, Gargano is great on miedfield, etc.

Don't get me wrong, Brazil and Uruguay are on the same level and Brazil may very well beat Uruguay on a match but it's not fair to say Uru is beign a homer when he says that Uruguay > Brazil, specially when you don't give an argument as to why you think is the other way.

Does I really need to base it on something? It's Brazil. I watched Copa America and I really wasn't impressed with the way the tournament turned out, tbh... I just don't think it was a dominating performance by Uruguay to say they are up there. In the WC, they played against South Korea and Ghana to get to the Semi's.. and they didn't necessarily dominate. Oh but they lost better than Brazil?

Did you see the final 3-0 embarrassment of Paraguay? best defense of the tournament? ONLY team to make Spain sweat in the WC? Now that you've been outed as Mexican it makes sense your denial positioning.

It was Aguirre's fault Chicharito didn't plat much in the World Cup

When it counted, this Uruguay team left Mexico in 2nd place in their shared WC group and took them to Argentina's path. Now the team beats Brazil, Uruguay is still less than Brazil?

Soon enough we'll have a confederations cup

ok, just to make my position clear, as it stands right now IMO, the Latin American ranking looks something like this:

    1) Uruguay
    2) Mexico (I really do think Mexico is in better shape than Brazil or Argentina ATM)
    3) Brazil
    4) Argentina
    5) Chile
    6) Venezuela
    7) Ecuador
    8) Paraguay
    9) Colombia
    10) Peru
    11) Bolivia

As much as it pains me to say (and live through), Mexico is clearly better than the 19th best team in the world.

No what I'm saying is I don't really have to post about it.. an opinion like that shouldn't really need a base.

Like I said in another post.. it doesn't matter how well the opponent Uruguay beat did against Spain or Brazil... every match up is different.

The fact that I'm saying Brazil>Uruguay has nothing to do with the fact that Mexico just beat their B team. I'm not saying Mexico>Brazil or Mexico>Uruguay so this Mexico homer bs has no place in the argument.

Uruguay had the easiest route to the semi's, and that's not even close.. and that's why I'm not even considering placement of the WC either. Unless these two teams actually play each other that opinion won't change.

    Who didn't play from Brazil?
They have been playing with their Olympic team with some fill ins for these couple of friendlies, because they really want to win it.

Julio Cesar, Maicon, Alves, David Luiz, Ramires, Kaka, Nilmar, Robinho, Anderson.. heck even Ronaldiho (who owned us last meeting) are some that I didn't see. Now I'm not saying most of these players should be in the NT, but... well that's more than enough to say the Brazil Mexico played wasn't at its full strength.
