Hey Timvp/ Kori.. I don't know you guys.. I am someone on the other side of the planet where basketball is an afterthought.. where the Spurs are a nobody.. I fell in love with this team because of their class, their special nature and Spurstalk provided me with a vista to keep reaffirming that love. The loss to the Thunder is tough to swallow, but my love will endure. So what if the Spurs went down when they were expected to surmount one big hurdle for No. 5. They still have some weapons left, some ammunition to use and a great FO to keep working miracles. They might to have change a lot to contend again, but their steps will be more sure and more firm than say the Orlando Magic will have to take and that's what love for a team is all about with the fan partaking in the new process that a great team has to endure.
Don't take away that platform for my love by shutting down ST. Please!

depends on the rules..i thought it was who could get closest to the actual score? not who could predict the spread. else we would have just said "spurs by 8" etc

the way i calculate it, you were 2 points off of the spurs score plus 3 points off of the thunder score so total of 5
i was exactly right on the spurs, 4 off on the thunder so a total of 4 points off.

hey timvp, thanks for the site. i've been lurking for a couple years but decided to join the madness. i'm cool being a GNSF, there are much more hardcore and knowledgeable people around these parts (plus tons of head trolls but that's okay).
glad to have this site around now, the past couple of years i just mourned privately but those losses didn't hit as hard as this one.
