Manu's foul was an easy call for an offensive foul. Actually he was lucky he did not get called for a flagrant on the foul on Harden.
Forgot about the Kawai swipe at the head but when Manu does it? It's flagrant.

OK then. You were seeing them like the refs i guess

No bias here, just the facts. Do with them what you will.

    1. A defensive foul against Manu Ginobili is waved off, turned into an offensive foul. Replay showed Durant was sliding, original call was correct. - 3 pts for the Spurs

    2. Manu Ginobili is hit setting a legitimate screen while Leonard hits a three. Ginobili is called for a foul. - 3 pts for the Spurs

    3. Stephen Jackson receives a technical foul for looking at the Thunder's bench. He says nothing, he makes no gesture; he looked at them. + 1 pt for the Thunder

    4. Parker is called for a foul against Westbrook. The replay shows there was zero contact, and zero appearance of contact. +1 pt Thunder

    5. Kawai Leonard is strongly hit in the head, causing him to lose the ball out of bounds. No call. +2 pts Thunder

    6. On a driving shot, Kevin Durant gets a foul called against a defender. It's Kawai Leonard, and he's not within five feet of Durant. + 1 pt Thunder

That's 12 free points to the Thunder, and Ginobili on the bench in the fourth, all because of fouls that did not happen. This is not whining about the referees, these are simply the facts, and they can be examined for validity.

No whining, just posting the obvious bad calls. By the way, I would have posted bad calls against the Thunder, but after review I can't find any. If you can find blatantly bad calls against the Thunder, I'll edit this post and put those calls in the list.
I would agree on everyone but number 5. You or anyone that knows how should make a video of it. Call it "how to call a game 6, by Joey Crawford"

Man that was a huge 3 by Leonard wiped out by the bogus offensive foul on Manu. Huge.

"I said the same thing. This was as bad as Dwyane Wade getting 24 or so FTs in the 2006 Finals. It is also as bad as the Lakers/Kings Western finals where LAL got 22 FTs in the fourth.

I've been watching NBA ball for 40 years, I'm 51 and not decrepit. What I believe is the officials are corrupt, particularly Joey Crawford. This was too bad to be an accident or coincidence.

People who say the game wasn't rigged must not have seen what I saw. Harden flopped twice and was rewarded each time, the second took a three pointer from the Spurs. Steven Jackson hit 4 or 5 straight threes and was given a technical for staring. Manu Ginobili had a layup that should have been an and-1 called a charge. Derrick Fisher ran into Gary Neal, and Neal was called for a foul. On another play Neal didn't touch the player and a foul was called. Durant was given two free throws on a rip through move where he initiated contact, and the point of emphasis this year is that is NOT a foul. Tim Duncan was called for an offensive foul when a player fell. On one no call Durant hit a three, but Perkins clearly held Stephen Jackson in the lane to prevent him from closing out. On another no call, Ibaka set an illegal screen which tripped Jackson.

That's about 10 calls right there. There was also a phantom touch foul on one Durant shot and also a late phantom call on a Westbrook shot. Each time the shooter went to the line. Conversely, Parker got hit driving the lane twice in the second half with no foul.

On another key sequence, Kawhi Leonard had position for a rebound. He was pushed in the back and hit in the head. The ball went out of bounds and ruled off of Leonard, no foul. Play on.

Other no calls: Rooting out for rebounds by Fisher on Ginobili and by Sefolosha, who converted for a dunk.

This game was beyond poorly officiated. I truly believe Crawford helped rig this game."

It wasn't that bad in the heat of the moment, not gonna bother to check the replays. Only the Kawhi call killed me.

Wake up this morning, and for the most part, the media is whitewashing this rather than going with what should be a story. So far, around 87% of all basketball fans who watched the game think the officials gave the game to the Thunder. That means 87% of all viewers think the Thunder were given Game 6, and were sent to the finals by the league. This per RealGM.

But you won't hear anything about it, despite the fact that the NBA has a history of official corruption. ESPN has made some brief mentions of it, but seriously... if 87% of viewers think the game was rigged, don't you think there would be an article? Nope.

    Zach Harper agrees:

That was … controversial: Some really questionable calls will end up tainting what ended up being a truly fantastic display of basketball over these six games. We saw two teams play at a high level almost every quarter and truly battle. Sad that the officiating will be what's remembered.

If the Spurs hadn't lost Game 5, this game wouldn't matter so much.

The Spurs got EVERY CALL and EVERY BREAK in the last few minutes of Game 5, and they still lost, so get over it....the Thunder were just the better team. Don't forget, they almost won Game 1 in SA.

Agree with this one. The original call should not have been overruled on the floor.
    2. Manu Ginobili is hit setting a legitimate screen while Leonard hits a three. Ginobili is called for a foul. - 3 pts for the Spurs
    http://youtu.be/wTpo9pUmZpU
Manu leaned into Harden, Harden flopped ala Manu and got the call. It was an offensive foul, but Harden sold it. Cry me a river, Manu's made a career out of it.
    3. Stephen Jackson receives a technical foul for looking at the Thunder's bench. He says nothing, he makes no gesture; he looked at them. + 1 pt for the Thunder
    http://youtu.be/bs1fySutD7Y
He admitted he said something. Next
    4. Parker is called for a foul against Westbrook. The replay shows there was zero contact, and zero appearance of contact. +1 pt Thunder
    http://youtu.be/80FC5WMiYqQ
Happens all the time on both ends.
    5. Kawai Leonard is strongly hit in the head, causing him to lose the ball out of bounds. No call. +2 pts Thunder
    http://youtu.be/Szcb81YL5HA
Incidental, and you cannot consider that +2 as there's a possession where defense has to occur. This is weak sauce tbh.
    6. On a driving shot, Kevin Durant gets a foul called against a defender. It's Kawai Leonard, and he's not within five feet of Durant. + 1 pt Thunder
The foul was later change to Manu who actually did foul Durant. The only problem I had with that was it allowed Manu to be more aggressive thinking he only had 3 fouls when in fact he had 4 and so he picked up another foul and had to go to the bench.
    7. Kevin Durant initiates contact with a rip through move against Stephen Jackson. It is called a foul on Jackson - two free throws for Durant. A point of emphasis this season to referees has been that this is NOT a foul. + 2 pts Thunder
No, a point of emphasis has been that this isn't a shooting foul, but the Spurs were in the penalty.

That's 14 free points to the Thunder, and Ginobili on the bench in the fourth, all because of fouls that did not happen. This is not whining about the referees, these are simply the facts, and they can be examined for validity.

During the stretch of bad calls in the 4th, the Thunder did not hit a FG for over 5 minutes. During this time they scored 15 points.

No whining, just posting the obvious bad calls. By the way, I would have posted bad calls against the Thunder, but after review I can't find any. If you can find blatantly bad calls against the Thunder, I'll edit this post and put those calls in the list.
Sounds like whining to me, and most of it is wrong. That intellectual can of whoopass must be outdated.

One other officiating note: We were flying out of San Antonio earlier in the playoffs, and Rodney Mott, the ref, was on our flight. One in our media traveling party approached him and pointed to a seeing-eye dog nearby.

“I’m not going to make the obvious joke,” he said.

    Mott smiled.

The writer also told him that he must have done a good job the night before, because we couldn’t remember him working the game. Being invisible is often the sign of a competent official.

Then, we looked at the box score and remembered. Mott had been the alternate. There was a reason we couldn’t remember him.

Mott isn’t one of the league’s better refs. He would have been an alternate in Game 6, too, if not for the illness of another official Wednesday.

That’s why, this time, the Spurs will remember Mott.

    Remember this guy

Composing more fiction eh? Are you going to invoke a sense of the numinous in your montage?

With your type of bias confirmation and ability to skew the truth to suit your agenda, I am sure it will be a hit. Your class should love it.

    wake up ppl

NBA is a FOR PROFIT coorporation. All they care about in the end is THE BOTTOM line. Of course there will be some manipulation. But that's part of the game. Same thing with the Financial System in this country.

There's manipulation pretty much anywhere money is involved. And money is very, very involved in the NBA.
