Actually, though, after several years abroad, Gerald Green is back in the league and playing for the Nets. There was a Grantland piece on him a couple of months back.

Well, sure.
With Green suffering from a rare heart ailment and out of basketball, though, the trade is so lopsided that it's the kind of deal that makes other GMs wonder if they dare to trade with you for fear of being made to look like an idiot.

Ok, I forgot his name, but I know he did play for double digit minutes in at least... 4 games or so.
That trade was almost as bad the Tyson Chandler for nothing trade to the Mavs.
da #5 draft turned out to be which also made the ray allen deal look bad imho, OKC got the ty end of the deal and getting perk was kinda like a compensation tbh
