Battier can't guard KD. Bron has to.
How much time is LeBron going to spend actually guarding Durant? I'd imagine Battier would get the majority of that assignment. They'll pick their spots putting LeBron on Durant imo.
He can't spend all 48 mins going through those screens, he will be guarding him for sure tho in crunch time.
I'm really intrigued to see if Wade guards Westbrook from the get go.
Bron is on his prime. Dude never gets tired, wouldn't be surprised if he does that tbh.
Then he'll be sacrificing some of his offensive game & Heat cannot afford to lose any of it.
As I've said he never gets tired. But, even if he contains durant OKC has many weapons. Bosh really has to show up.
With Wade inconsistent and Bosh still coming back from injury they need huge production from LeBron on the offensive end (assuming they beat Boston.) Expecting that kind of production while at the same time locking up Durant for 45 minutes is a tall order for anyone, even LeBron.
Battier can make him work throughout the game but of course LeBron should get the call during crutchtime. Either way, Durant won't have it easy and nobody on OKC can guard LeBron, especially if he gets it going the way he did last night. Of course he won't play a whole series shooting that god like percentage but LeBron and Bosh present a match up OKC has no answer for.
What makes you think bosh can play at that allstar level?
Since returning from injury he hasn't been bad and will only get better. So why wouldn't he return to all-star level?
It takes time to get back to that level after the Injury he had... I don't see him being 100% but obviously if he is then it becomes a very close series. Hopefully HCA plays a factor here.
Free throw shooting too.
